COD Ghosts stuff..

New perks system: http://kotaku.com/heres-how-perks-will-work-in-call-of-duty-ghosts-1138263278 - sounds similar to Black Ops 2's overall create-a-class setup where they basically give you a set number of points, and each perk/weapon is worth x-amount of points. Except in Ghosts this is only with Perks, apparently.

As discussed at today's multiplayer event in Los Angeles, in Cranked, a kill will boost a player's speed and other attributes but it'll also start a countdown clock; get another kill before it expires or your player will be blown up.

Search and Rescue is a team mode that allows downed teammates to be revived. Players who shot down drop a dogtag; if a teammate picks it up, they'll be revived. If an enemy picks it up, they're killed.

Squads modes revealed so far include Squad vs. Squad, which lets you and your Squad face an opponent and their Squad, and Squad Assault, which lets players fight against another player's Squad even when they're offline. Safeguard will let players fight against waves of enemies with their Squad.

This video does all of the explaining, but the feature sounds really cool. Their behavior will change based on the loadout they're given, too. Fighting in Squads will earn you XP the same as any other multiplayer mode, too.

Squads sounds fun, but I really hope that losing with the AI controlling you/your Squad doesn't fuck up your score or anything.

Fewer air-based killstreaks is a major plus.

I think Squads is a separate mode outside of the core MP mode. Sounds more like a revised version of the co-op mode with some competitive flavour added in.
