All-Pro Difficulty, No CPU Trades, 7 minute quarters, Yes on Accelerated Clock (15 sec runoff).

If anyone has a problem with the above settings, let me know. I put yes on accelerated clock because if someone is kicking ass and trying to run down the clock, waiting for a 40 second play clock to wind down can be excruciating. But if anyone disagrees, say so.

Also, this league is purely for fun and as a substitute to the other league, especially since we have to wait so long for everyone to finish up their games. The way we'll do games will run a little faster- everyone has to finish their games by Monday night at midnight (Pacific time) at the latest, unless everyone hits "Ready" on the online league page in which case we can advance the week early. And, if your favorite team was claimed in the other league by someone else, you will be given first priority to your team so if bps21 wants his beloved Bills for example, he can have them here while fazzle is still free to join as any other team.

Oh, so what's the plan on free agency? I only ask because I don't want to just horde all the FA guys and either piss you all off or be a douche.

I think I got a pretty good start on a plan with this idea:

I could see a better system working out like our TSM Keeper Leagues where we could have a specified amount of keepers that are above a certain rating or whatever and every offseason we have to dump a few players. That could be equivalent to a salary cap for us, and a lot easier to manage since we all check this board anyways.

Perhaps league rules could state that you can stay with as many players that you started off with on your team as you want, but only the FAs count against the keeper rule. I haven't seen how the draft works, but we could make it where basically picking up FAs that are over 80 or 85 will lose you draft picks or something, maybe? What do you guys think? I want some kind of control on the whole free agency thing since it doesn't work exactly like it does offline where you have a salary cap to manage and negotiations with the player and their agent.

Okay, I might have to restart the whole thing with working rosters. God damn it. Seems like we got the Favre and Vick update though. Why wouldn't the newest roster update apply to both online play and online franchises?

I know we don't have that one as I had no Seymour, but still has Garcia and Neal. Which I guess is a decent trade off, since I noticed we can't sign FA's, so no way for me to get Neal back with the Seymour roster.

But yeah we're certainly not on the most updated roster. I would just be crying in my beer if you reset it and erased my 41-13 loss. Oh no please don't erase that game from history.
