We've advanced, because Baltimore remains perfect & stomps Pittsburgh something fierce.

If my math is correct Baltimore clinches a playoff spot as only Pittsburgh & Jacksonville could beat us for a wild card, and Pittsburgh would win the division if they passed us (keeping the wild card spot free & giving it to us). Win & another Pitt loss away from taking the division outright, anyway.

Troy Smith played most of the second half because it was 27-7 at halftime. Smith throws 2 TDs and a late INT when I forced a deep ball just for the sake of doing so.

Cards went into Tennessee and started decimating the Titans, up 28-0 early in the third quarter.....and then the Titans started making a comeback all of a sudden. Charged all the way back to 28-21, before I recovered an onside kick to hold them off. Bad news as Breaston broke some robs in this game, and is gonna be out for 2 weeks.

The Pats thumped the Saints 31-6 in the Monday night contest off of 3 Drew Brees INTs, one of which was a TAINT. I think if bps loses his game I clinch the division.

It sucks that Loaded Glove has apparently fallen off the face of the earth since he has the only other undefeated team in the NFC besides myself. It's very possible that he might have to face one of us in the playoffs and if it comes to that, I'll have to boot him from the league until he's ready to rejoin the rest of us.

By the way, if any of you would like to, you're more than welcome to invite anyone you know to our league. I feel like getting more than 8 active players would be pretty nice.

Also, none of us have player vs. player games this week, so it should be advanced fairly soon, provided everyone gets their games in.

We have so few player vs player games because we don't have so many people, and I likes it that way. The whole scheduling thing slows down the league & since most of us are going to the playoffs it'll really start to drag at that point.

30-17 Oakland. Well I'll be damned. Three pick-6's was what won it for me, I was still awful on offense.

6-6, the Raiders are back to .500!

The Vikings were without AP or Percy Harvin for my game against them, and I went in assuming I was going to steam roll them.

...Someone forgot to mention that their defense was still pretty good. Kurt Warner threw FOUR picks (one for a TD) in the first half, but the game was still close thanks to the Vikings offense being horrid, and Favre throwing 2 picks of his own. It was 13-7 going into halftime, until Warner hit Urban with a "what the fuck are you doing so wide open? Where IS everyone?!" touchdown on the last play of the half.

Vikings got a FG in the 3rd quarter to make it 16-14, and I went for it on 4th and 4 to start off the 4th quarter. Warner threw pick #5. Vikings turn it into another FG. 19-14. Series of punts, and I have the ball with 1:29 to go and no timeouts. Warner FINALLY comes alive, we drive down the field, and Fitzgerald scores a 12 yard TD with 16 seconds to go. Favre then ices the game by throwing a pick 6, 27-19 final.

Houston picked apart Jacksonville and its all but a wrap for the Texans being in the Playoffs and being the AFC South divisional champion.

Schaub is back to leading the league in yards and I think is close to leading on TDs as well.

Stroud and Williams picked up I think five sacks between the two of them to keep the Jags out of it.

If you're available tomorrow night, I could probably do it then. I live on the west coast though, so there's that to take into account. It'd be later in the evening for you. I'm also available via IM and PM on here if we both happen to be around.

VX & I are missing our game, I can't seem to cross paths with him on XBL. Other than that I've no idea who's missing (if anyone).

Haha, sorry man. I completely blanked on it yesterday. I went out for happy hour around 4pm and forgot, came online later and saw you were offline. The Packers ain't afraid of you, son. We just have final exams to do/write :\

Seriously though I'm going to spend some QT with the Xbox tonight and tomorrow before I go to work so if you're around, I'll hit you up.

oldskool is officially the luckiest motherfucker alive.

I dominate him on defense the whole game pretty much, outgaining him by at least 100-200 yards and he scores off of a: a weird botched punt that looked like his knee was down, b. a dumb interception by me when I was tilted and playing down 7-0, and then the luckiest deflected sideline pass in history.

Welp, there goes homefield. Gotta say this is going to be very interesting with who gets to play who in the Super Bowl. The NFC's going to come down to fazzle and I anyways (and maybe Agent Bond).

I had no offense to speak of...outside the Ludicrous Lob in Lambeau where the ball's deflected and Rideau makes an absurd catch right on the sideline, 46 yard gain & into field goal range no less.

Beyond that, 0-7 on 3rd down and 3 first downs the entire game. Beware the Packer defense...the offensive line still sucks though. Rodgers was under fire the whole game & Grant, while having respectable stats, had a few plays where he was struggling to get out of the backfield.

I got my "Win in Lambeau when it's freezing" achievement out of it, too, a nice touch.

Raiders keep on rolling with a win over the Redskins. Defensive battle for the most part, with a few pick sixes being the difference. It's too bad BPS and I don't play each other since we're both battling for that 2nd wild card spot.

This has nothing to do with the league, but I didn't feel like digging up the regular Madden topic.

I just wanted to relay my frustration with the 'Could this be the one?' Madden Moment, as I know a lot of others had trouble with it, too. I manage to get the score, and then on the 2-pt conversion, Pettigrew is WIDE OPEN, and he still manages to just drop the pass. With just under a minute left, I miraculously recover an onside kick, but after two plays, a backwards pass is dropped and fumbled to give the Redskins the ball and end the game. This challenge...
