Ravens stay perfect and smash the Lions 37-14. Their 2 TDs were after I was up 34-0 and was subbing people left & right to get the starters out of the game.

I'm not a big fan of the Ravens offensive playbook any more.

It took three tries, but the Pats steamroll Carolina 49-17 to stay in the hunt for the 2 seed. The first time I noticed that the game fucked up my depth charts so I had to quit out to fix them (I tried to adjust them on the web site, so that's probably why), the second time I got a server error in the 4th quarter.

Delhomme threw three picks, one a TAINT. Brady threw six TD passes and went over 3000 yards for the year. Randy Moss is running away with the receiving title and had three TD receptions in the game.

As far as I can tell, I only have one user game left (next week vs. bps' Bills) before the season finale with Broward, so that could be for a 1st round bye.

Yeah...not anymore.

Houston bombed Seattle to a 55 - twenty something score with Schaub throwing for over four hundred yards and Andre Johnson going from 972 yards receiving to 1277 yards to overtake Moss for the league lead while Matt sits atop the passing charts.

I just lost the worst fucking game ever to the now 3 win Chiefs.

The highlight of the game had to be my tackle of a receiver 2 yards shy of the first down marker in OT that they measured and gave him the first down on. That was great. Made better by the fact that I couldn't challenge because it had to be a booth review. So even the faint hope of the game being fair didn't happen.

Or maybe the highlight was the two sacks Cassel shook off at the end of the 4th just before he threw a ridiculous Touchdown to tie it.

Or maybe it was Evans dropping a sure TD with no one around him.

So many to choose from.

So many to choose from.

So it looks like Fazzle and NinerFan need to play and we can advance to the next week...

Broward, you're quite the impatient lad aren't ya.

Also, this league is purely for fun and as a substitute to the other league, especially since we have to wait so long for everyone to finish up their games. The way we'll do games will run a little faster-

it being all for fun is cool..but there's nothing wrong with wanting some semblance of an advance date or time to keep things flowing.

I want it to keep going (like I said in the other thread) because things have a way of just simply dying out after a short bit of time and never really finishing.

Woo! Agent is online. I'm gonna TRY to have a game with him, but all my earlier games tonight kept dropping the connection. Let's find out what happens.

Well this is certainly brutal so far.

Agent has had the ball for ONE play, and is up 14-3 after the first quarter.

NFC West gets a lot tighter as the 49ers beat the Cardinals 34-20.

I threw a couple of horrible picks in the 4th to take away any chance I might have had.

Frank Gore, Patrick Willis, and Nate Clements carried me to that win.

Gore had 15 carries for 151 yards 1 TD, 3 catches for 51 yards and a TD
Willis had 2 INTs, 1 INT returned for TD, 6 tackles
Clements had 2 INTs

Those three stepped up big for me this game.

Without their efforts, I might have lost, because I gave up nearly 300 yards through the air to what was a really good aerial attack by the Cardinals, despite the turnovers.

Good game, Fazzle.

Cardinals get a tougher than expected victory in Detroit, 24-13 over the Lions.

Good news for anyone who has the Lions for the rest of the season though, as Culpepper broke his wrist in the last 2 minutes of the game, so they're down to Drew Stanton at QB.

Raiders win 27-24 OT to ensure at least a .500 record. I blew a 24-10 lead with only a few minutes left, but thankfully the first or second Bronco play of OT was a pick that I ran back to the 30 or so. Ran it a bit up the field and then kicked the field goal to win. And again let me say I HATE fight for the fumble. I can never ever even be close to winning it against the CPU, so it's an automatic recovery for them. Twice in this game I forced fumbles but it went into fight for the fumble mode so I didn't get the ball.

42-10, Texans over Rams.

Schaub was 25 / 32 for 441 yards and 5 TDs.
Johnson had 15 receptions for a total of 311 yards and 4 TDs.
Mario had 7 tackles with 6 sacks to take over the league in total sacks.

Oh, and playing this (or any game really) with a pair of TurtleBeach X31's is fucking awesome.

Baltimore gets by Chicago, 42-28.

With the whole alphabetical thing going on, it looks like I just have to win 1 of my last 2 to lock up home field.

Feel free to win your next one so you can rest your starters when we play in the last week!

But since I'd still get crushed, I think you have Pittsburgh next, and them losing is also good for me.

Posted about this in the other thread:
I didn't think about it, but I'm going out of town next week (on Dec. 21st) for a couple weeks so it'd be great if we could get the playoffs done by then. For those of you in the TRTSM League, I may need someone to step up as commish in the meantime unless you guys have no issue with taking a break for the holidays. I need to buy a new Xbox LIVE Gold membership too, but that shouldn't be a problem.

Let me know what you guys think. I'll start a poll with choices for commish or break as soon as I get some interest from the community.

I'll be gone as well from the 19th through the 27th, but I'm going to take my copy of Madden and my x-box live profile with me, so if we haven't gotten to week 16 before then I can play my vs CPU game at a friends house. If we're at week 17 during that time I in all likelyhood won't be able to play my game vs. Baltimore, but I guess there's a slight possibility.

I would prefer personally to try and get as far as we can as soon as possible though.

I'll be here throughout the holidays, unemployed apparently, so if "nothing else to do" is a priority, I'm your man.

I agree with this. It would be great if we could get through our season by the end of this week, and then take a break, but that seems kind of improbable. Let's see what we can do, though.

The Rams score a few garbage time TDs after going down 28-3, but still lose to the Cardinals 28-17.
