So I've gotten back into playing SSF4 online and can see that the time I spent away has really killed my skills (not that I had many to begin with mind you). Still see a lot of Shoto's and got completely jailhouse raped by Dan earlier in one of the online tournaments.
I know Thoth still plays but I'd like to get a few more matches back under my belt before I get killed by his Vega or Adon.

Evo was supposed to have started by now, but apparently things have gotten delayed because Obama is in town and his motorcade is preventing a lot of people from getting to the convention center. Hah.

I was out for most of the night but caught a little bit of the action just now and earlier in the evening. TvC is pretty cool to watch but I know so little about it that I don't feel that I can truly appreciate what's going on. I suspect the same thing'll happen when I try to watch the Melty Blood competition later on. SSF4 competition has been really good so far - hopefully the lagginess the stream was suffering from earlier in the day will be gone by Sunday 'cause I don't want to imagine what'll happen when 30,000 people crash the servers trying to watch the finals.

Justin Wong was just eliminated from the SSF4 tournament by a Taiwanese Adon player named Gamerbee. I was hoping that there'd be a different matchup in the finals but never did I expect that Wong would fail to make the top eight. Unreal.
He look shook as fuck in the opening round. Throwing out ultra's like it was nothing..2nd set he seemed to get his composure back and lock down Bee but that third and final set, he seemed to just not know what to do.

I've basically missed all three days of this thing. Which is my fault, admittedly, but not enough people are uploading matches to YouTube, either. Zero TvC there until today, for instance.
I know they don't care about games anymore, but why G4 doesn't air it, I don't know. It's easy programming. More room for Cheaters I guess. Or if there were match archives or stream replays on the EVO site or something.

Uhm, they've been streaming it at eventhubs.com for the entire weekend. The stuff isn't getting put on YouTube due to LevelUp taking things down for copyright infringement.
Ironman's Lvl 3 combo looked really fuckin awesome (did 70 hits).
G4 will be showing something in like, a week or two and there's talk on the SRK forums of trying to get a DVD put together.

I'm a fan of Adam Sessler but there is no reason he should be commenting on the SSF4 finals. Guy doesn't seem like he knows anything about the game beyond the basics.
