 You got Mu? You lucky bastard! I got Tsubaki.

...though considering I am learning to main her, its not all that bad.

Also Mu isn't underaged. She's just underboobaged. That's all.

Did you get the PS3 version? Maybe discs are different.

Also,
Mu is Noel, but in the past. And since Noel is like, what, 17? 18?
Therefore, Mu has to be, like fucking 14 or 15 or whatever?

There should be no difference between the versions as to what characters you get. All console versions are supposed to have Mu/μ-12.

Ok, that's not correct. Mu is actually Noel's real name and also what Noel really is, which is the 12th Murokumo Unit. Noel was found on the fields of Ikaruga and was adopted by her mother and father into the Vermillion family and given her new name Noel upon adoption. Bolverk was given to her to seal her memories of being a Murokumo Unit, so that she could live a normal and ordinary life because she no longer had a purpose since she was a failed Unit in that she couldn't connect with the Azure Grimoire.

Though she connects to it later on which is why everyone wants her. Gotta love how failed things are able to connect.

The mindfuck that Terumi does unlocks her memories of being a Murokumo Unit, that's all. So Mu isn't really any different in age than Noel. The only difference between Mu and Noel is that Mu is able to utilize all of Azure Grimoire.

Well there's also the rage against everyone aspect, but that's just our poor Noel trying to cope with the idea of that she isn't really human. But that doesn't matter because she's still our awesome little angel of death.

Ok, she's MY awesome little angel of death. Shoot me. Wait, no, Noel not me!

I think he means the art on the disc itself.

So is the new Blaz Blue more balanced?

Maybe. The tiers shifted dramatically, but the end result is only slightly more balanced.

The exciting thing is that BlazBlue is actually designed for balance patches. Currently, there's only two rulesets, 1.00 and 1.01. The difference is that Makoto is allowed to be played in 1.01. In 1.00 rules she is not selectable. This does mean they could do more substantial patches down the road.

Does the Xbox version need a Title Update after the patc? I was too busy with other games to find out. If not, it means that Arc Systems Works was smart enough to code in a way to do balancing by creating a DLC file that the program looks for when launching. This means they can patch the game WHENEVER they want, they don't need to wait for Microsoft to approve the patch, nor do they need to pay them for certification.

The story in Calamity Trigger was so full of crap, with people being vague on purpose.

Its not that people were being vague on purpose, well ok, they were, but its more the actual nature of what they were trying to do. Because it was harder to get to the different paths than CS, CT was harder to understand. Hell, a lot of things only made sense if you took a wrong path. I have nearly all the paths beat so it made me understand the story a lot better. However to get those paths you stoetimes needed a walkthrough which is stupid. I'm glad they streamlined the process for paths in CS becasue it helps out.

And while CS is the next game in BlazBlue, its actually more like BlazBlue Part II than actually BlazBlue II. Taht's not directed torwards you toth but more towards others who are wondering. And also, if I spell something wrong, its because IE is being a pain right now and moving all over the place on this post so its hard to see what it is taht I'm typing at the moment.

I only ask because BB was one of the least balanced fighters to come out in some time, apparently.

Is this still the case?

While its not the greatest balanced game, CS will allow for updates to tune it to being balanced, which would be wonderful. I'm not holding my breath though.

I just got Super Street Fighter IV, and I love it. I'm best with Ryu, Ken, and Sakura, but I still can't beat Seth on medium. Any tips would be appreciated. The second round just gets ridiculous.

The nice thing about CPU Seth is that he will always do one thing based on where you are standing. At full distance (Or almost full distance), he will wall jump and kick. Punish him. Never jump in on him unless it's guaranteed. Know which of your moves go through fireballs, punish his sonic booms with them. Sadly, Ryu, Ken and Sakura don't have any moves that have fireball immunity, save for well-timed Ultras or Supers.

Other than that, general character mastery will win for you. Know your best pokes, and just outpoke him. Being a CPU opponent, he will always be successful to pokes. Nickel and dime him to death if you must. Also, learn his patterns, his are VERY clear... or they used to be. In Super, he's a bit less formulaic. He'll still go to the well for a couple things. Also? Block.

The Following Requirements must be met while playing Arcade Mode to fight Gouken, who will appear after the battle with Seth. (In default settlings. I.E. 3 Rounds): -Do not lose a single round -Perform 5 Super or Ultra Combo Finishes. -Score 2 Perfect Rounds (Not get hit a single time during a Round) -Connect 10 "First Hits" (When you're the first to connect a strike during a Round)

I've been playing Soul Calibur on Dreamcast lately. This is a very fun fighter, and still IMO the best SC.

I use a fight pad myself. All the sticks I've seen have a square inset and as I play mostly QC characters, I just don't feel comfortable using them.

The newer MadCatz ones have apparently gotten good reviews by pros and regular gamers alike..but its all about what you plan on doing. If you want to be semi-pro or compete, then just find something you'd like to use..if its just for being at your place and playing with friends, then a pad is all you'd really need.

Just my $.02

I use a HORI on PS3 and PS2 for pretty much every fighting game. The only one I seem to suck at it with is Street Fighter 4 for some bizarre reason!

Yun and Yang are official for Super Street Fighter 4. There are no pics or videos worthy to post for this yet. There have also been some balance changes:

Zangief: EX Green Hand doesn't knock down.
Honda: Ultra 2 has a new motion: HCBx2.
Bison: Ultra 2 is now a charge motion (HA FUCK YOU YOU WHORE).
Gouken: LP rush punch has no forward movement, but is faster. His counter is now DP + Punch. LP for low body counter, MP for upper, HP is unclear.
Rose: Lost all invincibility on Soul Satellite (Ultra 2).
Makoto: EX Hayate (Rush Punch) Now breaks Armor/Focus Attacks., more invincibility on Oroshi (Overhead chop), and a damage boost on Fukiage (Uppercut).
Abel: Command grab damage nerf. More recovery on Breathless (Ultra 2)
Fuerte: Ultra 2 got a damage nerf.
T. Hawk: Now has a standalone EX Condor Dive (KKK), and can be done on back jumps.
Adon: Wakeup time changed (unclear)
Sagat: More recovery on tiger knee. Damage BUFF on tiger uppercut.

So my boy Abel gets nerfed with his hammer throw, but Breathless doesn't leave you open to get raped when you either whiff / burn it to get out of a corner...I feel sort of "meh" about this.

Adon's wake-up time I can only see them fucking nerfing that shit since he tends to spring the fuck back up after being hit and waking up into a rising jaguar.

Changing Bison's 2nd ultra to a charge is sort of not needed...I mean, what are you doing that for exactly? To stop the abuse it causes from it being so easy to input?

I use the one that came with Tekken 6. I like it and it helped me with trials on SF4.
