Thought I'd made a good find with Bust a Groove and Marvel vs. Capcom (along with some others) for the PS1 at Goodwill, but their cases were empty. :(

Might want to go back. The Goodwill in my area keeps the discs at the sales counter.

Not this one.

There were probably about 12 or so PS1 games on the CD rack and all but 3 or 4 of them were just empty cases and the ones that still had discs were nothing special.

I might go back in a few days and just buy the cases if they're still there. Maybe try and find disc only copies online or sell the cases by themselves and make a few bucks.

My local thrift store finally figured out that old shit is worth more. No more 1970's NFL programs for a quarter. :(

More and more places are catching on to what's worth what and they're overpricing to the moon.

Local Goodwill now has an original Gameboy in an official carrying case priced at $60! There it will sit until the end of time.

Someone paid me $15 for the empty Marvel vs. Capcom case. I paid $2 for it, but I've gotten empty cases for free there before.

I stopped by an indoor Flea Market after I got off work this afternoon. What did I find, you ask? Conker Live and Reloaded for $10. FUCK YEA!

Paid $50.50 for all of that (plus a copy of Star Ocean: Second Story that's missing the front cover that I probably should have passed on). Tron Bonne is my best find at a place like that.

Most of them are in pretty good shape, too.

Tron Bonne is going up on eBay eventually and in the shape its in should probably get me $150.

Great find. I just picked up Clock Tower and Castlevania SOTN at goodwill for $2 each. Nothing earth shattering in some time though.

I got $160 for Tron Bonne, $35 for Grandia, $15 for my old copy of Parasite Eve without the collector's CD, and $15 for the manual and both discs for Star Ocean.

And then I found a copy of Digimon World there today for $2. And some Japanese Game Gear game.

About time I had a semblance of luck at the Goodwill. Picked this up for $3.99 tonight.

I found a CDi today. It would power on (a bit) in the store, but I can't get it to start up now. And it didn't come with a controller. Not the best $10 I've ever spent, I guess.

I picked up a complete PSX Tactics Ogre at Goodwill for $5.05 a couple of weeks ago, and Psychic Force for PSX for $6 at a pawn shop.

So, the CDi works (and the battery still holds the date), but no games and no controller still make it a big paperweight.

Went to 4 Thrift stores today and scored some cool stuff...2 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Books, A GIZMO doll!!!!!, a horribly racist wall decor, 4 pieces of Muppet Movie glass ware and 5 He-man vehicles....3 of which I've never seen in person, and I know are fairly rare.

I remember having a Spydor. That thing ate the hell out of some 80's batteries, but it was a lot of fun to play with.

I woke up yesterday with the feeling that I was going to find something at Goodwill. Then WHAMMO!

I've never owned a Valkyrie profile before. Wanted to play it a lifetime ago. Throw in some decent filler seller stuff, a 1st edition of A Feast For Crows. And I'm out for $35ish

Valkyrie Profile is pretty monotonous but that's an awesome deal!

Went to a used toy store and cleaned up nice. Bought several Shredder variations from the first TMNT line, plus Muckman and other baddies. Scored a few He-man, including a King Randor that I bought for well under ebay going rates. Found a Barry Windham WCW doll, two generic Hulk Hogan rip off dolls, a Hogan thumbwrestler from 1986, two 1983 Mr T figures, a few Atari games for cheap (Maze Craze, Mouse Trap and the fire fighting one) and the rarest bit: A Man-at-Arms child costume from the early 80's in the (rough shape) box. None listed on ebay.
