Angela Watson's parents spent all her SBS money right? Poor girl.

The aunt's in season 1 were horrible. I was not sad to see them go.

I like the episode where Frank references the cast of Dallas having lines hidden on the set because they were shitty actors. Actor Allusion jokes are a big hit with me.

The wrestling episode of FM is great but HURRICANE URKEL going on American Gladiators against Carl will always be my favourite.

I still make the occasional reference to my Canadian change being from "Canadia", which is especially strange since ALL my change is Canadian. But the people I say it to get it.

Being you is most definitely cool.
Amazon.com review of said book said:
You know, this kid has some real nerve. Why on earth should I take advice from him? I mean, it is not like he is a real "star" like Erik Von Detten from Christmas Everyday fame. In fact, I allege there are blantant lies manafested in this book. I bet Beethoven can play a better game of golf than this kid. And not to mention that so called pilot's license! I would feel more safe being flown in a plane piloted by Stevie Wonder! I was looking for some real, genuine insight and advice about life. What a waste of three cents I paid for this book! I think Amazon should donate the remaining copies to the children in Africa. In conclusion, nothing disgussed me more thatn to learn Castile is a Kenny Chesney fan.

p.s. I hear he sits all alone at lunch, except on days when he makes reservations to dine in the janitors closet and makes conversation with the mop.
;D

My favourite episode of Family Matters is either the one where they go on a People's Court rip-off or the first Urkel Dance episode.

There was also a Family Matters where Eddie was the victim of police brutality.

The court episode is about the stick bug, right? A few years ago when the series was airing on OMNI-1 / CFMT here, I had incorrectly remembered Carl squishing the bug being the reason for the American Gladiators showdown (which they got on because Waldo's cousin is Jax from Mortal Kombat or something, right?) but that was just because Carl through Urkel out of the house, right?

The court episode is the bug, the American Gladiators is because Carl was being a dick.

Carl confronted the cops at a diner and told them off and said he'd be filing a complaint. The Fresh Prince one owns. A young Hank Azaria!

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Blossom are the two TGIF shows that didn't actually air on TGIF (or even ABC). Though I'll unironically argue to this day that The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was legitimately a pretty good show.

Blossom skew a little older, I don't think TGIF would have a character that was a recovering drug addict.

Anyone remember the Family Matters where Eddie and Waldo go on Studs and Eddie sings his song Baby Baby Baby? One of my favourites.

So Season 1 of Family Matters is on DVD?

That episode kind of pissed me off since Eddie is a cock to his friends so they dump him, and then he makes a video with his family and wins the contest anyway.

True, it was pretty dark but I was referring more to the day glo early '90s look and ham fisted moral lessons that inevitably took place at the end of every episode that was kind of in line with the TGIF shows. Honestly, though I remember the SNL parody of Blossom with Mike Myers as Joey Lawrence more than I remember Blossom itself.

And whenever I watched a rerun from the first season of Family Matters as a kid, I always wondered where Urkel was. Felt like an entirely different show. Just a blatant "blue collar" ripoff of The Cosby Show.

I'm still waiting for Season 3 of Perfect Strangers. I don't care how gay bob_barron thinks the first Christmas episode is. It is a bit preachy though, with it's "We say Happy Birthday AND Merry Christmas because it's Jesus' birthday" line. The way Balki pronounces Jesus makes it ok though.

I started hating Perfect Stangers when I met Bronson Pinchot and he was a total cocksucker. And yea, the first XMas episode is super gay.

Didn't know they finally released Family Matters on DVD. I also like the episode where Urkel burns down Leroy's and begats Rachel's Place.

Wasn't he on Step by Step? His name sounds familiar.

Matt Crawford (Andrew Keegan; season 5) – Al's boyfriend for a few episodes. In the episode "Snow Bunnies," he turned down an unforgettable evening with a popular blond named Stephanie Leifer, who was nicknamed the "Love Boat", showing his deep loyalty to Al.

No memory of this.

How did the write JT's girlfriend Sam off? He laughed at her for having her top come off at a Waterpark?

Yea, I stopped watching Step around that period.

There was an episode in the last season where Al inadvertently did an ad for a phone sex line.

Oh! Urkel reading When Father Carves The Duck is the funniest thing ever

What I noticed in season 1 of FM, Eddie is played as a near retarded person. I know he was never the brains of the family but his 1st season portrayal seems much dumber than the character would be. I think my favourite was Laura called him a chauvinist and Eddie responded that he thought they were Baptists. Which reminds me of the episode where Urkel's parents were no good Atheists but Urkel explained how invisible atoms are the scientific proof that you don't need to see God.

I wouldn't say he was near retarded, he was just not booksmart.

Witness the episode where Rodney rigs the school computer so he gets straight As, but in the end his real report card is filled with Bs and Cs, his best one yet

I was exaggerating but my point was he seemed very stupid at times. I was actually going to use that very example - he REALLY thought he earned those As.

The "N Word" episode of FM had a profound impact on my then 7 year old cousin. He couldn't understand why someone would be so mean
