In what fucking world can Rampage get Machida in the plum and fucking go to town on him? Not knowing how to sway is ruining my enjoyment of the demo. I'm being dodged and counter punched to death by the slowest guy in the demo.

Yes. The 2009's pre-order exclusives were eventually released as DLC.

I really have no idea what I'm doing in this game but I just had an awesome fight where I was Lyoto and I KO'd Rashad with one second left in the first round - elbow to the face, knocked that muthafucka into next week!

I don't know... I spent the last 20 minutes trying to push the limits of the new features and all I ended up with was a repeat of 2009. I used every fighter and got a KO every time, either 1st or 2nd round.

You don't even need a full Thai plum. Even just a single collar tie against the cage is brutal.

I got a really nice KO earlier with Rashad against Machida. I picked him up and slammed him and he turtled. I just rained down punches after he turtled.

They had 2 Gamestop exclusive fighters late year which were eventually released as DLC.

Well since I've bumped up the difficulty, not liking this at all. I mean really, they added all of this supposed new shit, but didn't think to put a tutorial in the demo like last years?

As someone who can easily dominate the CPU on expert on last years it sucks I'm getting my ass kicked only on Advanced.Like someone said, the computer is swaying and dodging or countering most of what I throw at them, yet I have no idea how to do it effectively. Read here how to sway, but half the time seemed like I was swaying into punches or Machida kicks, instead of dodging them. I'm also not sure how to reverse. It doesn't seem like flicking the stick does it anymore. Doesn't seem like flicking it does anything...seeing as how last year with a wrestler, I was able to pick from the 4 slams from the clinch by picking the direction, I only seem to be able to do one slam, no matter what direction I rotate. at least according to the controls guide.

And while the ground game was my strong suit in 2009, I can't seem to get anything done this time around. the CPU seems to be beast at reversing, or simply transitioning even if i am holding the stick, while as I said before I can't seem to reverse myself.

This really should have had a tutorial.

I was winning about 75% of my fights on expert the other day but I had to keep everything standing. If we hit the ground I had to immediately fight for survival and try to stand back up regardless of who I was.

I don't know of anyone has said this but when I was playing my friend, the game would auto block transitions when I was trying to let him try to spin off of his back from north/south so I could
take his back from the sprawl posistion. Why would they add that?

The ratings scale only ranges from 79-67, which is odd.

The only 79s are BJ and GSP (Anderson is 78, Brock 77) and the two 67s are McFedries and Kimbo.

Anyone been able to do anything approaching a skill move on the ground? The wrestler slam from open guard down seems to have gone, I can't get a rubber guard with anyone... very confusing.

I was basically rotating the stick like crazy trying to figure out the positions. It seems MUCH harder to switch positions on the ground without either having a much bigger rating than your opponent or softening them up first. I did figure out how to sway (it is holding the right bumper and flicking the left stick in the direction you want to go) and that actually makes the stand-up better.

The only thing I'm afraid of by some of the videos I've seen... is that Marcus Jones looks to be unstoppable once he gets you on the ground.

So as Rampage I caught Machida's kick and then knocked him the fuck out while he was hopping on one leg.

How the hell do I escape from a submission? Every time the CPU locks in a hold, I end up tapping out, even in the first round. Yet, every time I try to finish with a submission, the CPU is easily able to escape. Rotating the right stick doesn't seem to do much.

Yup, i done it in the demo, evans was against the cage and i kept a flurry of leg kicks and he keeled over dead.

THQ may be set to announce that a code will be needed to access online play for UFC 2010 UndisputedUFC 2010 Undisputed. The rumor seems to have originated at UndisputedOnline.net though it has since been established elsewhere as well. Apparently posts at the official UFC Undisputed forum that have discussed the possible news have been repeatedly deleted leading many to believe there is legitimacy to it. Though the original rumor was just that THQ would be making a controversial revelation regarding UFC 2010 the signs are there that this will be related to the code pack-in with new copies of the game.

Based on multiple sources of information that match up it does appear that THQ may be revealing their own version of the “Online Pass” that EA Sports recently announced for all their games. A reviewer on GameFAQS let the information out as copies are now in hand for some. A one-time code is found on the instruction manual providing access to online play for free for anyone who buys the game new. Anyone who would get the game used or rent the game would need to pay in order to play online. No word if they too would be offering a trial period or the price that would be charged for those who need to purchase a code.

If this is the case then THQ needs to make the announcement immediately as the game is out in just eight days. It isn’t just about being upfront with consumers but also that it would make sense for them to let it be known. Those who may traditionally wait to grab a copy used and save a few bucks may just purchase it new by having a full understanding of the circumstances.

After playing the demo, I figured what the hell and I traded in Raw/SD 10 and NBA2K10 for this at Gamestop for $40.

As mentioned before, should would have been nice to have a tutorial. Does anyone know how to even attempt a takedown? I tried fooling around with the right joystick and some of the L/R triggers but haven't been able to do anything but clinch.
