I'm gonna start Wolfenstein II tomorrow. I have a massive backlog of games and ordinarily wouldn't have jumped forward to anything released last year, but someone bought it for me and I feel obligated to.

Honestly, ME:A to me feels like a total retread of the previous games rather than something new, that's why it's a slog to me.

Part of it for me.....

I was waiting for some connection to the prior game. Or finding out revenants were the results of the human/synth merger.
Or finding out the bad guys were evolved humans.

After the disappointment of COD WW2, I ordered Battlefield 4, due in any day now. To prep, I've been hopping between Blacklight Retribution and Planetside 2. It's pretty sad that a pair of indie freemium games are more competent shooters than a top-selling AAA title, but I'm hoping BF4 will give me that hectic-but-tactical feel I'm looking for.
Oh god why did I ignore this beast for so long. Matches are won or lost via strategy over cheap kills. My only gripe so far is the slooooowwwww grind as a noob.

I'm wrapping up Yakuza Kiwami. The story isn't nearly as good as Yakuza 0's and there isn't as much side stuff to do, but this is basically a gussied-up version of a 10 year old game that was first in a series so that's expected. The Majima fights have some entertaining setups at least.

I've been playing the remaster of Modern Warfare with my son. We do multiplayer, load up some bots and go at it.

Baldur's Gate 2. Good memories, plus David Warner's voice. All good.

Got so many games on the back burner but I just couldn't stop myself from buying Monster Hunter World, waiting for the install to finish right now...

I got Cities Skylines: PS4 Edition. Using the controller for a city building game like this isn't a problem at all and I'm having a great time with it.

I'm also over 50 hours on Origins and still going.

I put over 100 hours into Skylines on the PC over the past 6 months or so and I'm really tempted to try it out on a console, so I'm hoping the price drops a bit more or its a PS+ free game at some point because $30ish is more than I can justify spending on something just to give it a shot.

It's on sale right now (at least in the US store). They gave me a 10% off code as well so it ended up being just over $20.

I've been playing far too much Pinball Arcade, but I did manage to beat Mario Odyssy. Now I need to get back to Mario and rabbids.

The Civ 6 expansion dropped on Thursday so I’ve played about 30 hours since then

Finally cracked open Horizon Zero Dawn...it's only been sitting on my shelf for half a year or more, can't remember when it came out. I don't know if I'm digging it as much as say Witcher 3, but I do like what I've played. I'm still also fairly early on in the game, so my thoughts might change as we go.

Getting close to finishing up RE5. The graphics are only slightly dated, but the control scheme where you can't run and shoot is totally bonkers and keeps pissing me off.

The Discovery Tour in Assassin's Creed Origins is one of the coolest ideas to be added to a video game. I've always loved the historical settings and trappings of the series but they just blew it the hell out with this. Some seriously fascinating stuff.

The historical stuff in thsoe games is one of my favourite aspects as they put so much effort into the details. I really need to play Syndicate so I can get to Origins. I gave up on Unity and I don't think I'm likely to go back to it any time soon. Just too many things not clicking for me.

Trying to grind up my Support and SWAT classes in KF2. Support has been easier (shotguns, XP for giving ammo), but SWAT might be second only to Commando in pure firepower.

Final Fantasy Explorers. It's not very good and way too grindy. I finished the main quest and the story sucked, but I'll probably keep playing until i beat all the quests, or get to a point I don't feel like grinding out gear again.

If you're not playing Darkest Dungeon - on any platform - play it. Play it now! :)

I've been putting off Darkest Dungeon. It's a game I know I'll get invested in and never stop playing. The art style is beautiful.

Skyrim has been it, lately. It holds up but is dated at the same time, much like life itself.

Threw a no-hitter in The Show with my 5th starter. That's probably only the second one I've ever thrown in a baseball video game. It was awesome.

I also started Bloodborne. I'm using a guide and I don't feel ashamed to be doing it at all.

Door Kickers, literally a SWAT game just with an overhead camera. I am bad at it, but getting used to things.

Also gotten back into This War of Mine, which is one of the best yet bleakest games I've ever played.

FFXIV(Brynhildr), STO and some Fire Emblem games while I'm travelling. That's about it.
