I'm playing Beyond Two Souls since it's free on PSN and it's OK so far, but I'm just waiting for, like in most David Cage games, the story to just go completely off the rails. I still remember Indigo Prophecy going from a decent murder mystery to a batshit insane post-apocalyptic Egyptian or Mayan sacrifice thing where you die but not really. Heavy Rain seems to be the most sane one because there's zero supernatural elements forced in there.

Still slowly working through Monster Hunter World.

I'm 38 hours in but feel like I'm nowhere close.

Dove back into Planetside 2 recently. I was getting super frustrated while relearning its intricacies, but lowering the sensitivity a little from where I had it and using a Kontrol Freaks on the right stick has me pulling off headshots like crazy.

Rising World, or I Bought Weird Shit One Night On Ambien. One of those survival games that I should've waited a year to look into, at least. Best part so far is being able to literally never stop digging downward and occasionally stumbling upon random samurai armor. I should've just got Conan Exiles, just for the dong physics.

Toys R Us is going out of business and I picked up Saints Row 2 for the 360. I like the Saints series more than GTA.

So I need to fill the time I'm not playing Monster Hunter World. I have the following:

-Wolfenstein 2 (XBOne)
-Fallout: New Vegas Complete Edition (XBOne)- I have played this game but it's been years and I never played DLC. My favorite fallout game.
-Skyrim (PS4)- same as Fallout above
-Darksiders (PS4)- never played it before
-Darksiders II (XBOne)- same as above

Or I just say screw it and download all the new content for Elder Scrolls Online and get back into that.

I've kind of fallen off Stardew Valley (though I put like 50 hours into the two weeks I was engrossed in it) and finally started Tales from the Borderlands which I got free from PS Plus like a YEAR ago. Telltale games live and die by their writing and I think this one has very strong, funny writing and good characters. I'm two episodes in and I'm pretty into the story so far; telling it through the perspective of two characters and alternating between them is a great idea.

I tried out the H1Z1: Battle Royale beta on PS4. Seems like a hybrid of the realistic style of PUBG and the simplified, easier to pick up Fortnite (but without any of the crafting). I hid in a storage room and picked off like three people so the gameplay is representative at least.

I decided to give Raiders of the Broken Planet a try after hearing of its solid combat system, a blend of cover shooter and well done melee combat. While the actual gameplay is just fine, the fact that any multiplayer game REQUIRES 5 players to even start is complete bullshit. I tried getting into a game for a solid 15 minutes, each time ending with "one player didn't ready up, game cancelled." To make matters worse, the single player is just a brief set of tutorial missions to get you ready for the multiplayer. The multiplayer that doesn't work.

Deleted. Too bad, really, as the combat system really is extremely well done.

I really should take a break from Monster Hunter World. I'm not sure what to play next.

I could start down another long term path with the Elder Scrolls Online expansions I have yet to play.

Or even sink 100+ hours into Witcher 3. I've never played a Witcher before but I hear so much.

I also have some old favorites that I've bought on the next-gen consoles I'm itching to try again. Fallout New Vegas and Skyrim.

Then there's the fact I haven't played an Assassin's Creed since 3 and my wife owns all of them.

I also have Darksiders I and II on XBLG and PS+.

There's also God of War 4 that my wife just beat.

South Park the Stick of Truth I never played but got for free with Fractured But Whole. I've wanted to give both a whirl.

And then there's Wolfenstein II which I recently picked up.

WHAT THE FUCK DO I PLAY NEXT!?

I'm suffering from paralysis of choice. Someone help.

I've had the nagging desire to start playing Roller Coaster Tycoon again and reinstalled my old-ass CD copy of RCT 3. It's scratching that itch nicely. I almost got the Android version, but I'd rather use a mouse than a touch screen for it.

Fate/Grand Order

As long as you can ignore the temptation to pay your way to getting the great cards, it is a fun little visual novel game. You don't need to know the other Fate properties to understand what's going on, but it'll give you a few insights to the game that are fun. Although you can pay to try to get great cards, you can use pretty much every card successfully in the game. The lower ones just take more work to make successful is all.

I finally stopped playing MHW after 113 hours. I started Wolfenstein II last night and after that I guess I'll be looking for my next long epic (New Vegas, Skyrim, ESO or Witcher II).

However I also have Darksiders I and II downloaded. How long are these games? Still worth a play?

Mad Max might be the best PS+ free game they've offered. I just keep gravitating back to it simply because driving around and blowing cars up is fun to do while listening to podcasts. I *think* this team is doing Just Cause 4 so that makes me hopeful that it will be better than 3 was (something was just not right about that game).

Yeah, I looked it up after posting and they are.

I've also made the playoffs in my Show franchise and had a hell of an ALCS against the Mariners. I went down in the series 3-1 then came back to win it after a Hanley Ramirez homer in the 9th inning of Game 7. That's a damn good game.

I had the jones to play a LEGO game so I got The Force Awakens because it got good reviews and the gold edition w/all the DLC was $12 on PSN. It actually is really good and along with the main storyline that follows the movie there are extra missions that flesh out the time between Jedi and TFA and there's extra VO by the cast for them. They add just about every character you can think of too; the character select screen is kinda cumbersome because of it.

I lost the World Series to LA so I'm going to give The Show a break before picking up my RTTS characters.

I gave Absolver a try. It's alright, but better in idea (martial arts MMO) than in execution. The combat mechanics feel like a UFC game but without the shifting 2D plane to steady it, like a poor man's For Honor.

A long time ago I finished Hotline Miami without getting the secret ending or all of the masks; so I just did that. I started playing GTA:SA on the PS4. I beat the PC version a long time ago. Anyway, it doesn't hold up as well as the current one in terms of having checkpoints during missions and auto aim seems to target the wrong people.

I started Fallout New Vegas. I bought the two disc 360 version that comes in an Xbox One box though since it's all backwards compatible and stuff.

I didn't realize the DLC was all on the second disc and I needed to install it first. Ugh. I'm 13 hours in. I'm sure all the DLC will still be good because I have a long way to go. I don't think I missed out on anything.

I downloaded Earthfall, which is best described as Left 4 Dead's slightly dumber little brother. Instead of Infected? It's aliens. It's not bad for $30 and the developer has said they'll be rolling out new modes/campaigns soon.

Dead Money can be challenging but very fun. Honest Hearts is very scenic. Old World Blues is great. I wasn't a big fan of Lonesome Road.

So for the $5 I paid, Destiny 2 is....fine. Pretty much my podcast game at the moment. It seems to have the same problem as the first where I'm running through the same areas over and over and there doesn't really seem to be much to do if you aren't with a group of friends or don't really care about multiplayer.
