Finally beat the Undertaker and ended the streak! I ended up using Goldberg and spammed the ring bell, standing dropkick and running clothesline. The Jackhammer goes into a pin so he can't counter with Hells Gate or a Chokeslam. He'll try the lights out trick but if you're careful you can win.

I managed to beat him my first try with a caw I downloaded. It did involve a miracle kick out at the end though...complete luck I landed in the tiny zone.

Anybody getting killed with injuries in Universe mode? I've had Sandow go down right away and lost Cena, Sheamus, Orton and Show within a month.

Just turn them off if it's becoming too problematic.

Since I'm enjoying the game, I'll complain about it a bit now, specifically Universe problems that still exist from previous additions:

- The random matches still seem to have no understanding of heels and faces.
- The random matches still seem to have no idea of who is in a tag team.

So basically I keep seeing Heath Slater vs. Jinder Mahal in the SNME brand (my 3rd brand of Legends and some others to fill out tag teams) despite the fact they are both heels and on a team. Also weird stuff like Slater/Santino vs. McIntyre/Ryder, so it actually seems aware these guys are on teams but mixed it up. This was a common problem a year ago and seems no closer to being fixed.

That is the most upsetting match in the entire mode. Everything else is fine, but the win condition - using the punt - takes so damn long the other guy pops up like, 99% of the time and breaks up the pin. The stomp part I had no problems with.

I guess I got lucky - I know the sequence you mean but I reversed Rock's finisher on the first try and pinned him.

It took me a few...then I realized that as long as you knew it was coming it actually gave you some leeway. I just kept getting frustrated and forgot.

I just tossed HHH and he stayed down long enough for me to get the pin.

Is there any way to make custom match-up screens? I'm using the original SD arena and logo for my Universe and I want to match. I know there are pre-fab ones but there seem to be spaces for more.

Have you tried playing the matches? Maybe there's some kind of small story/cutscene that plays in the matches, that make it make sense? I know they used to have the one, where a guy would tag himself in, and that caused problems but not an actual turn. I know I had something similar happen in WWE13, where two random guys were in a constant feud on my ROH show, because I kept skipping the match, and so it never actually ended lol.

BTW if anyone was looking, "Excited 2" was the best substitute I found for Razor as a taunt.

Whatever nice things I've said about this game are quickly fading after the outright BULLSHIT they pull in that match in the name of a final "challenge". Even WWE's video games can't get an ending right.

They so need to add back in the Triple Threat Tornado Tag. I have no idea why they don't.

In my Universe, I have the Shield and PTP in a feud. The show keeps booking Shield vs Tons of Funk in an Extreme Rules match and PTP interferes at the start. And they stay out there. I don't know if that's a glitch or what, but these 3 team tag matches have been some of the most fun I've had on the game. Much like the ones I had on HCTP? or whatever the last game to have that match type was.

Obviously the AI is there. And there's 6 man matches, so fitting them on the screen isn't a problem. I have no idea why this match type hasn't returned.

I do hate the fact you can't customize the side / above 'trons better because they're hardwired to the titantron video, but it doesn't look that weird (especially in a classic arena) to just shut them off, so I'll at least thank the game for having that option.

Also some of the generic ramp trons (Justin Gabriel's) look ok, and I used Kane's flames for Latino Heat Eddie Guerrero. Another kind of odd thing I noticed was the entrances are attire specific, but I don't know how / if you can edit that. If Del Rio is wearing his WM27 gear, he comes out in a car AND to his old music no matter what.

So I just rented this from redbox yesterday and I was fucking around in Universe mode. It made a feud between Kofi and Ryder, and after Ryder beat Kofi in the first week, AJ came down and celebrated with him. Week 2 they face off again, but AJ comes down and is in Kofi's corner, constantly distracting Ryder during the match. Kofi wins and post match AJ comes into the match to check on him, and kicks him in the nuts.

Ryder gets turned on by a girl that already just turned on him? Truly this IS the most realistic wrestling game ever made.
