Okay so I know you can unlock wrestlers with 2K Showcase and MyCareer. Can you unlock anything with Universe mode?

Yeah, nothing happens when I press and hold 'x'. Maybe I just have a duff game instead of it being a bug.

You don't hold X...You tap it repeatedly.

Oh, I tried that. That does shit-all either. The instructions do say specifically on this year's game that you hold it, though.

The limb your targeting for the submission must be red. I've no problems doing it.

Oh yeah, if you're talking about tapping it to extend the meter and force your opponent to tap out, their body/limb must be red otherwise it will just run down.

The thing about holding the X button is to execute a submission hold from any state.

Yes, I know, BUT the same thing happens if my wrestler gets put in a submission. His head or whatever can be yellow and he'll still get tapped because nothing I can do affects the progress. Likewise, my opponent's body part can be red and still, the meter just runs down and he'll break the hold.

Seriously, I've played these games before. The submission system on my particular game is broken (and now 2K are saying they're compiling data from other people with the same problem, so it sounds like it *isn't* just mine after all).

I'm playing through Career now. Got the NXT Title, ditched it after half a dozen defences to go for a higher belt (or so I thought) and now Vicki Guerrero has nothing for me week after week, just dark matches or tune-up matches with no direction and no push.

No I know how most of the WWE roster feels. The realism in this game is stunning.

Someone bought me 2k15 for PS4 for Christmas... so I guess I can at least go in to it trying to have fun knowing I didn't pay for it haha.

Also I've read online that the last-gen version of the DLC doesn't come with music, trons, or moves that can be assigned. Sucks to be them.

So, I've been trying out playing WWE 2K15 online, and it appears that countering and kicking out of pins is simply guesswork due to lag. Also, is there any way to actually start a match yourself and pick who you are? I just keep ending up in other people's matches as Cena.

I on the other hand...am in my 3rd year. And have put just as much time into Universe Mode, as I have Dragon Age :-\

So I'd say it's subjective lol. May seem a small thing (since the CAW space is limited) but a big thing for me is being able to change clothes/gimmick. That's made me playing and creating stories in Universe mode extremely fun. My amazing KaneDust tag team with Goldust rocking the Red & Gold. Keeping attires up to date. (Rollins, Ambrose, etc. Game wouldn't be nearly as fun if I still had to use them in their Shield attires.) Creating Epic Wrestlemania attires for the CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan Iron Man main event I just did. I'm actually still having a lot of fun with the game. Which is weird, because it's January. And usually by now, already the games are collecting dust. And pretty much the only thing I play is Universe.

Yeah....none of that sounds fun. Especially changing attire. Sounds like a chore actually.

I guess I'll give the career mode a shot.

I like how if you let the game book it all your feuds will wrestle each other ad nauseum.

I don't even know how the hell to edit a wrestler. I go to WWE Creations and "edit" is grayed out.

Yea. You can also find good stuff for download in the community creations in you don't feel like creating anything yourself.

When selecting the match types you want to search for there's an option to select your top 5 grapplers whom you wish to use. Edit cena etc to whom you want to be.
