Yeah the Season Pass ONLY gets you access to Paige (only way to get her), the Accelerator and the Showcase add-ons. The other add-ons, like the WCW pack, NXT pack, etc, you have to purchase separately.

I'd like Paige, but I'm not paying £20 for her when I'm not interested in additional showcase stuff.
One more question - Breaking Point submissions just don't seem to work. I can't break them, and I can't make anyone submit - I'm holding 'x' like I'm supposed to and it does nothing. I've tried mashing it too, just in case, and that does nothing either. Anyone got any suggestions?

You do get some good characters with the Warrior Showcase, and the SummerSlam 91 / MSG arena.
Playable WWE Hall of Famers: Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant and Sgt. Slaughter;
Playable WWE Legends: Honky Tonk Man, Rick Rude, Macho King and Colonel Mustafa;
Playable WWE Superstars: Undertaker and Hunter Hearst Helmsley;
Access to WWE Hall of Fame ring announcer Howard Finkel and WWE managers Jimmy Hart, Bobby Heenan, Paul Bearer, Sherri, Sid Justice and General Adnan;
Playable arenas: WrestleMania VI, VII and XII; SummerSlam® (1988, 1990 and 1991); Saturday Night’s Main Event XXIV and Madison Square Garden®;
That said I'm still a bit miffed Sid is a NPC referee.

Just got this game and I actually really like it. The new stamina adds a lot to matches. I'm just a guy that will pick up and play a few matches here and there though so the customization doesn't bother me much.
I got the digital deluxe with no sting or hogan though?

When I download an updated attire for rollins, does that automatically go I to created star slot? So they won't announce his name or give him Rollins commentary?

You have to go into that attire and manually set it as an alternate attire (under personal info) otherwise it will just treat him as a CAW.

So I've never played a WWE 2K game. I loaded this up, set it to easy and I'm still struggling.
I'm having a hell of a time with the damn chain wrestling and I can't time reversals at all.
It'd be nice if there was a tutorial mode that showed you how to play, but if there is I haven't found it. I'm having a hell of a time with this game. Pretty much all I do is "Strike, strike, press x, mash some other buttons, watch a move, stomp the guy on the ground, do some more strikes, maybe irish whip him, he reverses and I can't get out and I take a beating forever".

It ran me through the chain wrestling the first time. Everything else is the same as it's ever been. I've got it on 'Normal' and am doing nicely... except that my submission system is still broken. Anyone else finding this!? I've been harassing 2K and they keep bleating about how they're working on it and they understand my frustration, which presumably means that I'm not the only one...

Well I've never played a 2k wrestling game so "same as ever" is "brand fucking new" to me.
How the hell do you do a signature move?
I'm trying to do the 5 knuckle shuffle on Rey Mysterio in 2k showcase but when I stand by his head and press triangle he just waits for him to get up and does the AA.

The 2K games aren't a new engine. THQ developed the bulk of the game last year but went bankrupt a few months before release. 2K14 was the first 2K and it was still the same game as it had been. This has a few tweaks but not enough to call it strictly a 2K game. If you have played a WWE game since at least 2008, the controls should pretty much be the same.
The signature is Y but if you hold too long, you may be doing the Charged Finisher, which is the waiting for the guy to get up finisher it sounds like you are hitting. I've noticed a hard time getting my signatures going, such as HBK's top rope elbow in the other 2K Showcase.

So is the 2K showcase the only way to unlock outfits and wrestlers? It sucks. I keep doing the CM Punk vs. John Cena MITB match and there's way too many conditions. I go on offense and then Cena makes a superman comeback and I can't get a reversal on anything. It's either too fast or too late.
I get to the end where I have to perform the GTS and win by pinfall and I hit the button for the finisher and he does the fucking anaconda vice. I don't want to win that way so I break the hold. Then Cena reverses my next move, goes on offense, hits the AA and wins. It's very god damn frustrating.
And I haven't played a WWE game since one of the first Smackdowns. So again this is all BRAND new for me.
It doesn't help there isn't a tutorial or anything to show me how to do certain moves. One of the later showcases is "Perform a suicide dive". How the fuck do I do that? There's nothing that shows me how to do it. I got my guy outside the ring and tried to hit the ropes and hit an attack button and nothing.
I'm very frustrated with this game.

I'm pretty sure 2K14 had some kind of text tutorial buried in the options somewhere so maybe look there. The game does give new players very little obvious help though.

Dama, I think you can go into the options menu and adjust the window to use a reversal. I think it all depends on one wrestler's stats against the other ones'. R2 is the button you go for, but I think Cena was built into the game with ability borderlining on "Beat The Streak" Undertaker from last year.
I can't help you on the suicide dives.

I looked up how to do it online and it's a lot more complicated. It said you had to lay him against the rope and do a finisher. Okay then....
It looks like Showcase only unlocks outfits on the CM Punk side (and Big Johnny) meanwhile on the HBK side it unlocks a lot of characters.

Yeah, I started with HBK because more characters.
You also unlock the NXT guys through that career mode (I got Rusev quick, there's also Neville, Dallas, Zayn, Graves and Regal) and if in regular play you win a match at the Smackdown arena, you get Vickie Guerrero.

Oh, that's a specific sequence for the showcase/career thing then? The normal way to do it is to run at the ropes and hold/press square when you are close to the ropes - of course your wrestler needs to have the dive ability for this to work.Damaramu said:
