Strrange that they used "Hero" for Luger's theme. Did he ever use it in real life? Summerslam 93 he used a different theme didn't he?

Yeah, SummerSlam 1993 he used the Stars & Stripes Forever theme. I wish they had included his 1994/1995 theme only because "Hero" sounds really weak for an entrance. If the demo video earlier in the thread is right, that means that when the song finally picks up he's already in the ring so you don't even get to hear the good part.

I got the Online Axxess thing and (finally) managed to work out how to get all the DLC stuff the first time around without paying for it... but I now cannot find a way to get the new DLC without paying for it. What obvious thing have I missed?

Do you mean the Fan Axxess? Because after I ordered it all the other DLC stuff appeared as Free right away.

Didn't order it - got the code with the original purchase of the game, just had to verify it and all that fancy shit.

Really? I was sure it was pre-payment on EVERYTHING.

The code inside the game is for online access only, there is another thing you can buy for 10 bucks I think that gives you either discounts or free on some future DLC. But the code in the game does not apply to the other stuff like unlockables, attributes, and the future DLC.

The code inside the game will give you Chris Masters and some outfits for other wrestlers but thats it.

Well, one way or another I got the stat editor and the unlockables and all that shit. I was sure it was from an in-game code, but I could be wrong. Point is, one way or another I got the thing that gives you all future DLC for free, so... why is stuff not free?

It was DLC for $0.99 or free with the Fan Axxess. I didn't order the Fan Axxess until after the patch came out, so maybe it fucked things up if you had it beforehand. Other people had the patch reset their universe, superstar threads, etc., and that didn't happen for me either. Everything worked the way it should have. I guess I should just consider myself lucky.

So I finally got it (and finally got home, stupid blizzard).

Like...third match in the WWE universe is Gabriel vs Bourne. I go to Irish whip Bourne into the corner, and he promptly warps outside, slams into the steel steps, flips over them, and warps back into the ring, down on the ground just in front of the corner I whipped him towards. Awkward.

I also need to do some slider work, because while it'll be great for grinding through the RTWM matches somehow I don't think WWE matches end in 2 minutes with a random backbreaker being enough for Sheamus to put John Cena down.

After doing a little bit of online boosting with a friend to help each other get the online Rumble win trophies, it looks like the 1,004 Signatures/Finishers trophy will be my last major road block for this game.

Speaking of the "Man of 1,004 Holds" achievement/trophy, I got a message last night from one of my PSN friends who spent 4 hours in 1 match before he finally unlocked the trophy. It was the last trophy that he had to get the Platinum for the game. I'd like to get a Platinum, but I don't know if I'm willing to spam finishers for 4 hours for it though.

That was pretty awesome.

Downloaded some of the Street Fighters that guy made. Downloaded Ryu, Ken, Zangieff, E.Honda, Guile, Bison, Saget, Vega, and Balrog. Zangieff is fucking huge.

Formed a tag team with Ken and Ryu. Formed a stable with Bison, Saget, Vega, and Balrog. This is gonna be fun.

I don't.. but I've found if you use one of those sites that rips youtube videos to mp3's, that works just as well as there are tons of themes on YT right now. Just google "youtube to mp3" and a ton of options should come up.

Another question: Is there some trick to getting submission wins against the computer? I had a submission match where I was playing as Wade Barrett against Bret Hart. I kept putting submissions on Bret, and he would break out almost right away. Then finally Bret put Wade in the sharpshooter after a lengthy match and he tapped almost right away. Kind of pissed me off.

My CAW (but only the one representing me - the rest seem fine) had the moveset defaulted for no apparent reason after I created Nexus attire for him. That basically just consisted of me changing my attire to black and yellow (looks kind of cool on the Canadian flag), but I checked the colour of the Nexus armband to make sure the exact shade of yellow was uniform (I have Punk a black and yellow paint job too). I re-assigned my Grand Slam finisher (rolling snap suplexes, 4th one is a brainbuster) easily enough, but everything else is so time consuming.

I'm fairly certain there's a trait or something, where wrestlers who are more submission-heavy will fight out of submissions quicker than most others. Which makes sense, because it's Bret Hart. You're not gonna make him submit easily.
