The only reason I don't have to keep re-doing Nexus' entrance / re-creating the stable when I jump ahead several weeks at a time is because I made it a 5 man group. I've jumped ahead and found them not listed at contenders, but that's only because the two "tag partners" left the group. I just re-added everyone.
The way teams break-up, there are some teams I'm surprised have been around for like, 5 years or more of game time (I'm in year 15 right now, but I jump ahead to Mania season a lot). Notable teams include:
Regal and Jericho - Formed a team and were almost always #1 contenders or champs. I got tired of them and broke them up myself, and they reformed almost instantly. I ended up drafting Chris to SmackDown.
Evil Money (Ted and Kane) - I've tried adding Maryse to the group but she always leaves. These guys have been around forever now despite the fact it was formed with one of those mystery partner angles AND they almost never had tag matches and were always bottom contenders. They won the tag titles in the last year I did.
Showmiz - At least in the months / weeks I don't skip, I've never seen them billed on the show as a team outside of a few times. They're never in contention for the titles.
Dashing Fellas - This was at one time a stable with Cody and Sheamus as the main tag team (hence the name) with Swagger and Vince in the mix as well. I retired Vince, Swagger has actually ATTACKED Cody during a match, and until recently, Cody and Sheamus almost never tag (in fact they sometimes are against each other in US title level contention / 3-4 way title matches).
Steamboat and Kozlov - Makeshift team I figured would break up, but they've found themselves in the Jericho/Regal role of either being tag champions or fighting for them.
Edge and Christian - Never really tagged for the longest time, then went on to have a 1 year reign as tag champs 2 cycles ago.
Hart Dynasty - Used to break up constantly before I downloaded the DLC, now they just sit as a team that doesn't really do much.
Some other makeshift teams (Drew/Jake) have stuck around for awhile too, even winning the titles.
and is it common for the computer to kick out of your first finisher attempt? Is there an easy way to kick out of pin attempts?
