Today, WWE Games and THQ released a patch for WWE '13, addressing various crashes and bugs, including a crash related to using created arenas in Universe Mode.. The patch is available for both the Xbox 360 computer and entertainment system from Microsoft, as well as the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. Download it today by logging on to Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network in WWE '13.

Oh dear god, don't do it!
The patches make their games suck worse!

I need to disconnect the internet from my PS3. The game can't help but remind me every 5 minutes that an update is available.

Ok I'm getting this soon. Is there no career mode like in the old Here Comes The Pain game? That was the last wrestling game I played and I remembered being able to use a created wrestler or superstar to go through a career. Universe Mode does sound interesting though...

Universe mode is essentially Career mode. You pretty much customize everything from the titles used to the show name and arena and rosters. You can also choose to play any match you want or just "sim" them (either watching or directly to the match result). It tracks wrestler momentum (pretty much their push, dictated by appearances and wins) as well.

LOL yes and yes. Obviously the Draft feature only works if there are two brands, though. You can also only have one "Major" show per brand, but I'm certain you can have as many "Minor" shows (ie: Superstars) as there are days in the week.

You have to have at least one PPV per month, but you can have as many as there are Sunday's (so, usually four).

For titles, you set a Major, Minor, Tag & Diva. Only the Major title is mandatory. So if you didn't want a Diva's title, you could just delete it from the brand. But, of note, only these four titles have tracked stats, rankings and histories. If you use any other titles outside of those four, they're pretty much cosmetic.

With two brands this game is already AWFUL about just booking the same couple of guys over and over and over again. I can't imagine how bad 1 will be without going in and changing up every single matchup.

Oh, I have some advice for that... wait no I don't, that match pissed me off since I kept over-spinning out of position when trying to aim the powerbomb (and again, I complain the AI is too self aware of your objectives and goes out of their way to screw you over).

It's some other match that was pissing me off with a finisher clock, but I learned if you just ignore the clock you can try again with another finisher later. I swear the first time this was a problem (Paul Bearer stopping the ref's count in Austin vs. Kane) I got a fail for not doing it right on the first finisher, but it worked out for me later.

I love the commentary during entrances in attitude mode. Wish they could put that in regular matches somehow.

That video was kind of getting me hyped, then I saw Vader was ranked 1 point higher than Gangrel, and my choice to not buy this game was justified.
