Yeah, that one is my favourite, as well. It actually times perfectly with his current generation entrance animation. The fireballs go off right when the guitars kick in. It's not a fat, dirty groove like Rollin', but it's still damn sweet.

Dammit guys, is this a buy or not? Like let's say I spend 35 on it on Black Friday, am I going to get pissed off at the CC (don't give a fuck about online matches) and has universe mode improved to the point you can run a show that won't take 2 and a half hours with the stop and starting.

Because if they have fixed that and the camera doesn't go crazy like it did in WWE 12, I might be open to this more now. Especially with THAT theme in. And how many CC spots am I looking at, just to be curious.

Well if your sole issue was CC working, it works now (on PS3 at least). I can get in each and every time within seconds and I've downloaded a ton. I have no idea how many CAS slots there are though.

Also if you rent it, you don't have an online pass and have to do that 7 day free trial thing. And the free trial doesn't give you access to CC, which is complete horseshit.


Now that I'm done with attitude mode, I have to look back and say I'm not really sure if I enjoyed it. Redoing some of the matches was a cool idea, but the historical objectives made me play through it so damn mechanically, to the point where I wasn't even concerned about having fun.

Agree with this and I'm barely into Attitude mode. I have had plenty of fun using Attitude era guys like a random match I did destroying Grandmaster Sexay with Ken Shamrock and there's been moments I thought were cool to see recreated but overall it is just kind of there (although I do laugh at blue blood HHH with the spine buster and flex pose).

Same here. I probably wouldn't mind throwing down $60 if I didn't have to spend an additional $20 for the the DLC.

I am slightly bummed PPVs only support two brands (with such a large roster and new ability to do so, I created WCW Saturday Night with it's own titles, but had to pick and choose which PPVs they can be on).

Got a kick out of the screen grab for Triple H vs Kane being the cover art to WWF Raw for X-Box.

EDIT: By the way, FUCK THIS MATCH! Took me several tries to make it out of the cage. You can beat Kane like he owes you money, but he can hit you twice and you're down for the count. Ended up having to do the corner finisher and crawl out the door.

Played three matches before work tonight. Not sure what to think so far. Attitude mode seems fun (two matches in) but the game is way too easy, even on legend/epic match. Might be attitude mode then get black ops next week depending on the reviews.

If this game has made me realize anything, it's that I really hate a lot of the new and remixed themes for the current generation of wrestlers. Barrett's theme is awful. The remixes for Dolph and Cody aren't much better. I just don't get what was wrong with their original themes that hey had to redo them into bizarre Nickelback versions. (Or that they even have to keep changing Barrett's for whatever reason)

Bret's theme is ass. Haven't done a ton of matches outside of Attitude Era but the few I have done I'm just trying to figure out why they have a hard on for changing themes.

Yeah, that is a bit odd that they didn't use the original one for the AE mode.

Some of the restrictions of stuff used in AE mode is nonsensical..

-Mankind has a ref attire, but not one you can use anywhere else
-Some of the themes used: Mankind's remins, Takers "chanting" Ministry theme are BOTH in AE mode but not usable outside of that.

Gave Barrett an Uber push in my Universe and he is now World Champion...and using the Evolution theme lol. It fits really well actually and is a lot better then his crappy default. I damn near gave him HHH's entrance too just because it actually looked pretty cool in CAE, and I figure a 'Passing the Torch' storyline between those two was pretty plausible.

If you have a 100% reversal rate (Which is what I'm assuming you mean by it being too easy) why not just not reverse every move or turn your own slider reversal settings down to create a more realistic match?

That's what I do occasionally, in the past anyway. Although that surprises me because this year on epic, just playing on normal I've had a few really good back and forth matches that lasted quite a bit...just yesterday I had a fuckin' awesome Dolph Ziggler/John Cena I Quit Match (Which as an aside, I really enjoy the new I Quit match features, so much better then what they had before) that had both men bloodied, both men head/torso completely in the red, still not quitting after finishers. And that was on normal. I actually had a pretty great replayed I saved where the ref was asking Cena if he quit, and I did Zigglers headstand taunt right beside him, where they happened to shake their head no at the same time. Then pretty sure Cena FU'd him, but he didn't quit.

Hell I've had some of my best matches on Easy, that way I can control the spots or where the action goes, even though I have to let the computer hit me sometimes, it looks just as good if I set the ladder up near the announce table, and let the computer suplex me through it as if I did it to them.

I turned my reversals down to 0 on legend and had one of the best matches I've ever had. Except I blew the ending with the lockout system, but that was my own fault.
