It's a new year so a new thread? How are you feeling about WWE? What do you want to see from in in 2025? What did you like/dislike about it in 2024?

Are you ready for 1500 hours of WWE a week? I hope you are!

I mean, it tends to vacillate between lame-and-good, most of the time, but most of the wrestlers I actually care about still work for WWE, so I'mma keep watching. I won't be watching as much, though, since I don't have Netflix, and don't have any plans to get Netflix. That's a "dry clean only" situation for me.

Like I said in the other thread,.................

I think that either WWE should bring back the WWE Network with the stand-alone service or TKO should start the TKO Network where TKO can not only bring back the OLD WWE Network format, but also to start the UFC Network and not only have UFC from the present, but also the UFC shows from the past, just like WWE did before Vince McMahon decided to bring WWE Network to Peacock.

Either way, I really don't want WWE Network to be on Peacock, anymore. I liked the old network better.

I've given up on my WWE Fight Pass dream but it's the best answer.

not sure why that would be surprising, he's a member of the Board of Directors and it's very common for them to be compensated in stocks. He also generated a lot of buzz and revenue for the company so he probably "earned" it, if anyone can earn that kind of obscene money.

I figured he was largely an "honorary" position since he's in La La Land for most of the year. I'm accustomed to UFC paying peanuts to everyone so I wasn't expecting the Rock to be gifted so much by the parent company.

Roman makes 14 million a year now if the internet buzz is correct(?) Meanwhile Dana won't pay Francis Ngannou to headline UFC PPVs.

Guys like Dwayne and Trump who can do something for them are 'given' things. They think Dwayne = real interest so he's given stock. And they gave Trump a campaign platform for who knows what reason.

Saw that SD is going back to two hours in June.

Looks like Rock, Hogan, Undertaker, Becky, Charlotte, and Logan Paul are all going to be on the show.

Hunter also teased Stephanie might be coming back

Why, I'll bet it's been at least four years since the last time Taker was this excited to be seen on a January 6.

Like I said to my buddy, KO and Fatu outworked everyone else involved in this match, and they weren't even in it for 5 minutes.

"Finishers don't matter in AEW"
They don't matter in WWE, either. Roman kicked out of three finishes done back to back to back, then another one when KO hit the Stunner.

This is what I hate the most about tribalism in wrestling. Both companies can be guilty of the same things. It's fine to not like it but don't demonize one and praise the other to suit your own biases.
