Download the LOW demo and try it. It sucks. There was no reason to change "Mash A Button" to "Fuck! Why didn't I get to the line in the meter when all I took was a fucking body slam!?!".

Sounds promising, wonder if they're going all out since they don't actually want to make anymore WWE games for a while.

ooooh you can use the Wii Classic Controller? That might be the kicker for me. Sometimes waggle wanding it gets old, admiteddly.

Especially for wrestling games where you're usually playing for quite a bit longer than the average Wii game.

Oh fuck yes. Some games work better for it, but others just need the classic controller. NiGHTS is a good example of this.

I have Guilty Gear on the Wii...that fucker is insane enough with the classic controller, don't even attempt to waggle wand your way through a fight. Don't even bother!

I played one match of the game at SummerSlam Axxess yesterday. I, of course, chose Edge and went against RedJed who played as Kofi Kingston. I wasn't familiar with the PlayStation controls, but we messed around for about 5 minutes.

The graphics seem slightly improved, and the most striking change was that there was no HUD. Stamina/energy was displayed in circles underneath our chosen wrestlers. Edge wore his red star t-shirt to the ring. Controls seemed similar to last year's game, though as I said, I'm not familiar with the PS3 versions of previous installments.

Overall, it was pretty fun. One last note- they were handing out cards advertising Stone Cold Steve Austin as a Gamestop exclusive bonus superstar.

EDIT: My friend found a video of me and Jed playing the game. Go to 0:45. I'm on the right in the black shirt.

WWE.com has some character models up.

Out of the 12, there is only one person who is making their video game debut (Maryse) and there is also Stone cold, which means Legends are most likely back in this year.

I wonder if Cole calls her "Maurice" in the game or if THQ made him say it right. Since this is the company that gave us an audio clip of John Cena saying he was going to redo his line, I'd vote for the former.

Austin with the one leg brace? Awsome.

They should put in the years Hall of Fame class as the legends for every respective game. Steamboat in it would be awsome.

Don't get too excited. I read (I think it was at PS3Fanboy.com) that he's a GameStop exclusive.

Guess I'll be buying SD vs. RAW 2010 at GameStop this year.

What's not to get excited about? It's not like GameStop is some rare store.
