I will finally be able to edit superstars attire. That's pretty much all I've ever wanted from this game.

Austin with the one leg brace? Awsome.

Don't get too excited. I read (I think it was at PS3Fanboy.com) that he's a GameStop exclusive.

One last note- they were handing out cards advertising Stone Cold Steve Austin as a Gamestop exclusive bonus superstar.

LMAO - well I was right on the part where I said I read it somewhere.

Holy crap, I just found out that Toronto actually HAS a GameStop! Bathurst & Bloor, two doors down from one of my favourite sushi joints (though I never walk in that direction). This must be a new addition! Well, I know where I'll be pre-ordering this year. :D

In theory, can't the Gamestop password just be shared with everyone on the net? Does the game KNOW you whether or not you bought it from Gamestop?

If the password is one of those "redeem a code" things on the PSN store, then it definitely can't be shared. Once it's used, it's done.

They eventually put up Tenay as normal DLC, no code required. But lately, the Gamestop bonuses have been unique codes for every customer.

Rumors are flying that its an included cheat code for the respective wrestler rather than an exclusive DLC code.

I wonder why they'd market these as exclusives, then? As soon as one person has the code, it'll be posted to the net and there'll be nothing exclusive about it. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'd prefer that scenario over something I can NEVER use because I don't preorder games at a certain store.. but yeah, if it is, someone needs a new head of marketing. ;)

Half excited about this year's game (I know I said that last year too...), if only to see how they execute the 'You're in Control' idea they're trying to put over. That could be a HUGE selling point, if they ACTUALLY allow you to do what you want and its not three preset cut scenes with interchangable wrestlers.

All that remains is to see what the final roster size is, and if they'll support the game after release better then SvR09 was (2 DLC packs - one not finished).

Could be the last one I buy if its decent enough to just mess around with.

Damn.

I was all set not to buy this.

And now they've made top rope create-a-finisher. Gotta be done...

Srsly on the DLC front. Their support for 09 was pathetic.

Christmas outfits after Christmas (and only for PS3 *grumble*) was an odd choice for DLC.

Considering it was released in the middle of January and not before Christmas was even more odd.

I think that's what I was trying to say.

The music-less (except Vader) 2nd DLC pack was quite bizarre too.

I'm just glad I could get Vader for free with the update that enabled people without the DLC to play people with the DLC.

Yes. I didn't get that. Earthquake didn't even have music.. he had what was supposed to be earthquake sound effects (sounded more like a volcano) with a beating drum. How can you not reproduce that even outside of something that may be rights-managed?!

Oh man, the DLC pissed me off to no end, shoddy, lazy and first time I've actually felt ripped off by a game. Really made me think about buying the next SvR. Think I'll hold back and read some reviews before buying this one, see how different it is and if they've actually added some worthwhile things.

It sounds good so far, but I felt like that for SvR09 at this point last year too.

Me too. Since the online lagged like hell, there really wasn't much to keep me playing it. I bought the game within the first week of its release, and had it traded in by February.

Put me in the wait and see category as well. I made the mistake of buying the last two and ended up trading them only a couple months later.

Vigo, you've just became my new favourite poster :D

Young Guns (I & II) is one of my favourite movies! Though I do have a soft spot for Westerns (Tombstone, Unforgiven, etc)

With fighting games having basically lag-free gameplay these days, if this thing has any lag, I'm not going to care.

And yes, I'm still bitchy about the lag in UFC.
