It's a neat list of legends, that's for sure. Kinda cool that they included ones who figure into the RTWM storylines, too instead of just a bunch of randoms as per usual. As far as those go, I wonder if there is going to be another LOWM game again in Winter/Spring?

Meh, just go to Caws.ws and get the forumlas.

..that's not what I care about. A few friends and I used to get together with SvR07 and then 08 and do a weekly "show" of sorts with CAWs. We'd trade CAWs to the main system we were using then finish editing everything. Now..it looks like its not going to be happening.

Then do a better job beforehand! If someone makes a good Hogan with a legdrop as a finisher, I'm there. Saves my lazy ass from making one.

"If the game is preordered at Amazon.co.uk, the player will attain a code to unlock two new arenas: Vince McMahon's office, and the Dirt Sheet studio"

I don't recall hearing that one before.

It's the same as last year. All of these codes are just things that can be unlocked through playing RTWM. They'll also be up on Gamefaqs by the end of the night I'm sure, as none of these are unique codes, except for the Austin one.

I watched a stream on justin.tv that somebody's got up, playing the game.

Between the custom story mode and the fact the Royal Rumble doesn't look like it sucks ten dicks this year, I'm tempted to get this.

The Rumble is great. Most grapplers have shortened versions of their entrances before walking/running to the ring. The only complaint is that its far to easy to win it now with it all being based on the LOW version.

Finally being able to change attires is so fucking awesome! Even if with limited ability. Nice that I'm having a match with Kofi in some black, red/green themed gear, and MVP in his full red singlet, rather then the default.

Also, me and my roomate had fun creating a storyline where Santino randomly found a briefcase with a Championship contract, which he later found out belonged to....Todd Grisham! Who was using it to make a deal, and so Todd bullied Santino, using Mike Knox as muscle. Only to have Knox accidentally cause Santino to win the championship he was after....quite fun. It was even better have King say "What the FUCK!?" every few seconds haha.

Line of the night being.."What the fuck is he doing on RAW!?"

That's awesome that you can use the non-wrestlers as well.

Can we actually make non-wrestlers champions?

For the lulz, I just want to have JR say "TODD GRISHAM JUST WON THE WORLD TITLE!"

Doubt it. At least I haven't seen any way. But there area a load of non-wrestlers available for the scene section of story designer. (Including all commentators, and announcers!)

You could probably do something in PS2 via Gameshark (assuming PS2 even has that story creator mode).

I just picked up my copy now.. now I have to wait all through work and then class after work to play it. Just like last week with Uncharted 2. :( Damn, they really gotta move new release day to Friday!

About to go pick up my preorder. Of all the modes that have been removed over the years, I'd say I miss Slobberknocker most of all.

This isn't majorly important of course but I am curious. For those PS3 guys who get the game, can you let me know how the online play handles? Even in 2009 I had lag issues in just one on one matches. Made it frustrating even though I was using a wired 50mb connection.

I'm playing the game now. I made a wrestler but I think I'm gonna hold off on making his move set and his entrance and his create a finisher for right now. I think I'm just gonna do the Road to Wrestlemanias first. I'm playing Edge's right now.

Nice, I like that Striker/Grisham are a team in this. I like the chemistry Striker had with Grisham over Matthews.

Hmmm.

Working on getting the Training Checklist done...but for some reason it's not recognizing when I do Springboard Attacks. The Checklist box doesn't even show up.

Any help?

I'll admit, I geeked out at that as much as any of the new elimination mini-games.

I was happy to read about Rumble Finishers (Superkick them out!).

I was unhappy to call Blockbuster and find out they were already sold out. I still have about $30 in gift money I got last Christmas that I could put toward this, but they don't strike me as having fast re-loading "for sale" stock so maybe I'll just go elsewhere and use this for something else.

WTF, Amazon.ca. The release date is NOT November 10th.

I think I'll just go to EB Games before work tomorrow... but if I do that, there's a different Blockbuster that may have it. Ok, guess it's buying games the old fashioned way tomorrow.

If you're comin' into the city, the Gamestop at Bloor/Bathurst had quite a few when I was in today. Also the Futureshop at Yonge/Dundas has been really reliable with new releases lately, having more than enough in stock whenever I go in.

EDIT: I don't know why but I always think you're in Mississauga.. so if you're not, disregard my comment about coming into the city, heh.

I finished Edge's RTWM and that was pretty fun, though I had to put the game on easy when I got to Wrestlemania....
Kennedy's a reversal whore at Wrestlemania

I started HBK's but I think I'm gonna take a break for an hour or so.

OK...I'm ALMOST done the training checklist except for one thing...

I need to reverse a diving move, but they just WON'T DO DIVING MOVES!

So gonna try to get the Royal Rumble bonus now.
