You can already technically do that with the CAW anyway and not using any default wrestlers. I'm still convinced its dumb stubborness on wwe's side.

I think one of the main factors is that the n64 games where basic models with palet swapped attires. The current gen of wrestling games are complicated models which would cause too many problems for them to have swapable attires. It would probably involve them having to redo the code from scratch and there is no what THQ/Jakks would do it when all they have to do is update a handfull of guys every year.

Oh and yes, regarding masks etc, they cant be added, its just change the colours of the existing attires.

I'm really going to have to stop being optimistic about the WWE games actually living up to my expectations.

I should note that I'm not so into these games nowadays so the inability to change attires on defaults doesn't really matter to me. I just think it's dumb that it's supposedly something they can't do. Especially given what year we're in and with the current state of gaming technology and all that.

Did they ever announce the legends roster in this game? Or is it not applicable?

That's what I thought, unless I missed a new update somewhere.

That's too bad, but I guess there's a reason for Legends of Wrestlemania.

In 2003, the superstars had storylines involving the last piece of pizza. Now, 6 years later, we get cookie eating competition and a CEO of a multi-million dollar business using his resources to steal cookies in three states. The evolution of video games is so awe-inspiring sometimes.

Those were done with the create a story feature.

ECW Title belt looks kinda small, but otherwise that's a pretty good entrance there.

I also like how they included the town for SummerSlam in that.

All the belts are small again this year. Really dont know why they cant get a proper size for them.
Only thing I can think of in my half-awake state right now is that they're tributing the NWA World Title, considering how big that belt really is.

...or the old Winged Eagle belt.

Intro ring announcing would be so much better if they'd just jack into the mic at TV & PPV and use that rather than having them deadpan it in a recording studio.

It just sucks that there wasn't time to include this year's awesome SS set.

I preordered the PS2 version of this. After playing last year's version for about 20 minutes before trading it in, I'm hoping to play this one for at least 30. Shouldn't be a problem since it looks like they've modeled the Royal Rumbles after the ones from LoWM.

That review looks quite promising. Something that annoyed me about SVR 09 was it certainly SEEMED to have an online community feel to it with the ability to upload hilarious highlight reels you could spend loads of time playing with, but they would quickly - quickly - get lost in the shuffle. It sounds like they've set the download community up much better this year.

Someone needs to use custom text to write a TRTSM based storyline that we can all download.

Didn't read the whole thread but you can let other people download your storylines to play through?

That's all kinds of awesome.
