Here's a weird one: Windham quits in early Oct, misses SSeries, etc... then has a promo appear on the Dec 2nd Superstars out of nowhere.
Windham was actually being advertised for the 1990 Royal Rumble up until the weekend of the showHere's a weird one: Windham quits in early Oct, misses SSeries, etc... then has a promo appear on the Dec 2nd Superstars out of nowhere.
Grand Wizard doing a promo for a show he was deceased for? (Well... that would be aired after the fact)What's the most egrarious example of commentary recorded after the fact? Or basically did I imagine JR calling parts of WM4 in the mid 90s.
On one of the CHV from 93 where they show the 40 man Battle Royal, Heenan refers to Texas Tornado as a "good man" or somesuch after he is tossed out as Kerry had died months earlier. What's the most egrarious example of commentary recorded after the fact? This is so scummyYikes!
Speaking of working from beyond the grave, IIRC, WWE showed Joey Marella officiating matches for weeks after his fatal car crash. I think it was only after they finally finished airing the shows from that taping cycle that they acknowledged his passing, almost a month later.
I like that Whippleman buries Marella for the accident whenever asked. This is so scummy
The promo for Mania X that they showed on the Rumble ‘94 VHS (no idea about the original PPV) had a clip of Mania IV with JR doing voiceover (that I guess we were supposed to think was contemporaneous?) about how the Macho Man had won not one, not two, not three but four matches that night. No idea why they didn’t just use Gorilla’s original call. What's the most egrarious example of commentary recorded after the fact? Or basically did I imagine JR calling parts of WM4 in the mid 90s.
