Even early on it was going downhill when Hillary mentioned the Great Recession and how Trump wanted Housing to fail so he could swoop in and profit on it all and Trump's retort (whilst trying to butt in and interrupt her)? "That's called business"

Every factchecking site (and there was a ton of them) that I visited had her truthfulness extremely high and the only thing he seemed to have any facts on at all was trade. The China climate change hoax tweet may have been the most retweeted thing all night. That he stood there in front of the world and lied about not being able to release taxes during an audit...did he think no one would say "uh yeah you can"? Fuck's sake, the woman he's competing with is a lawyer. She probably knows this dude. And then later to brag that you don't pay taxes on that "$694 million" you earned last year? And you want to be president? I just don't get this thinking. And worst of all, his supporters don't even give a shit about all this. It's madness.

Hilary won the substance part of the debate, but she comes off as an out of touch insider. Trump gave his base the red meat they desired.

As far as who won? Felt it was a draw.

There's already been a bunch of polls of undecided voter panels that showed they thought Hillary won and even people like Guiliani were on twitter basically admitting it saying Trump would prepare better. I don't know what red meat Trump gave his base because he got off like 2 jokes in the entire debate, didn't even get to talk about the Wall and totally failed to intimidate her.

He'll have to do way better next time out or Hillary will have to pass out again in public because this was a big win for her. Remember the debate was expected to be watched by between 80 and 100 million people.

The man had a week-hell, a month if not more-to prepare for the debate, and this is the best he could do. If he fucks up the next debate, he's done.

Public Policy Polling's post-debate survey found that 51 percent of voters nationally said Clinton won, while 40 percent favored Trump. In a CNN/ORC snap poll, 62 percent said Clinton won, while 27 percent said her Republican rival had a better night. Republican pollster Frank Luntz had a focus group of undecided voters watch the debate for CBS News, and the group named Clinton the victor 16 to 5. "This is a good night for Hillary Clinton, it is not a good night for Donald Trump," Luntz said, "but there is still time and there are still undecided voters."

Frank Luntz the guy who coined the term "Death Tax" admitted it. CNN also had a panel of Florida uncommited voters where I believe all but 2 said they were now voting for Hillary. There's some outliers but the opinion is definetly mostly that Hillary won the debate.

You're fucking crazy. Anybody who felt like that debate was a draw went into it already determined to give the 'win' to Trump, in the first place.

Saw CNBC, Fortune, TIME polls indicating that people thought Trump won.

You realize self-selecting online polls aren't scientific and can easily be brigaded, right?

Possible, but I don't really care tbh. Would be a way bigger deal against a different opponent and if it comes out during her term that she does have a problem like that, she couldn't run again.

Someone may have fed her this shit, but its reasonable its for realz. Either way, she got my vote now:

"One of my favorite baseball players growing up, Ernie Banks, used to get so excited about going to play that he would say, 'Lets play two,'" Clinton said. "So I am looking forward to the next debate and the one after that."

and to zero surprise at all like an hour after the debate he was asked about the line about how not paying taxes makes him smart and he denied even saying it.

On the 5th thread for this election cycle, we'd never got more than past the early stages of the third thread before. Are we more grownup or is this election just driving us insane? Lets go for 6!

The thing poking out of her back was the microphone hookup probably. Both candidates had a podium microphone and one clipped on. What idiots to not make the connection. What made Bush's lump in 2004 suspect was that it was further up his back, not where you'd see a mic setup clipped on.
