2016: when a presidential candidate demands that America "check out sex tape."

I think the one thing that's making me laugh thru the way these standards have been lowered so much... is the fact that going by the timing Trump made sure to get up earlier than his staff to sneak this bs in. I can just imagine him giggling to himself like a brat over the stress he's causing to his staff when they wake up to people in the media calling them about his latest string of bullshit.

Can't wait until he uses that at the next debate in between attacks on Hillary for staying with Bill and talking about how rich he is more.

In order to avoid admitting to cheating on his wife, Donald Trump invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination 97 times during his divorce proceedings with Ivana Trump in 1990, the Huffington Post reported Friday.

I like a man who knows his constitution.

While Trump was discussing women he did or did not find attractive, he brought up Paris Hilton, a friend of his daughter Ivanka’s.

“Now, somebody who a lot of people don’t give credit to but in actuality is really beautiful is Paris Hilton,” he said. “I’ve known Paris Hilton from the time she’s 12, her parents are friends of mine, and the first time I saw her she walked into the room and I said, ‘Who the hell is that?’”

[4:34]
“Did you wanna bang her?” Stern asked.

“Well, at 12, I wasn’t interested,” Trump said, “I’ve never been into that ... but she was beautiful.”

He then went on to call Hilton “dumb like a fox” and admitted that he had watched her sex tape.

Creepy

If it was meant to hurt him it would be from the last ten years... just showing '95 around the time when most people thought he was gonna lose everything sorta fits his narrative that he likes to have as one of those people that know how to comeback from failure. It'll give plenty for people who were never gonna vote for him but those who are "undecided" currently it does nothing. Wouldn't be surprised on those panel shows if any of his people who appear on them start shilling his book Art of the Comeback in the process of it.

https://youtu.be/nnMsUaT6e8k

It's looking like this again and the media is gonna fall right into it while everyone forgets for a couple of days about all of his awful quotes on women.

and now he can just sue a publication he's been wanting to sue forever in the New York Times even though this is from '95... since it's illegally obtained and they published everything. Really wish these dumbfucks quit falling for this stuff when he doesn't even go to any efforts to hide that he's leaking it.

He can't win a lawsuit against the NYT unless there's proof they employed somebody to steal the documents. Very very unlikely they did that.

It's not illegal for them to publish stolen documents.

Wait, KOAB, are you trying to tell me that it was Donald Trump who leaked those documents out of the fucking BLUE?

It makes people stop talking about Cuba, which is a major threat to the operation of his company. So yes, it's definitely possible.

He's done this before for his own amusement and free publicity. Doing something like this for what I said and what 909 said in the post before mine fits

Nah. He'd never release something that proves he once lost a billion dollars. It shatters his "greatest businessman" thing.

MANHEIM, Pa. — Donald Trump's campaign announced Saturday evening that the candidate would soon deliver a nine-sentence critique of comments Hillary Clinton made months ago about many of the millennials supporting her primary rival, Bernie Sanders. It was an attempt to latch onto a new headline in hopes of finally escaping the controversies that had consumed his week.

It didn’t work.

It took Trump nearly 25 minutes to read the brief statement because he kept going off on one angry tangent after another — ignoring his teleprompters and accusing Clinton of not being “loyal” to her husband, imitating her buckling at a memorial service last month, suggesting that she is “crazy” and saying she should be in prison. He urged his mostly white crowd of supporters to go to polling places in "certain areas" on Election Day to "watch" the voters there. He also repeatedly complained about having a "bum mic" at the first presidential debate and wondered if he should have done another season of “The Apprentice.”

— He said Clinton could not fight bad trade deals or Russian President Vladimir Putin because “she can't make it 15 feet to her car,” alluding to video that showed Clinton buckling as she unexpectedly left a 9/11 memorial service early. Her doctor later said she had pneumonia. Trump then imitated Clinton by flailing his arms and jostling side to side. He walked unsteadily away from the podium as if he were about to fall over. “Folks, we need stamina,” Trump said. “We need energy.”

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is getting flak today for an answer he gave on what he would do to address issues around post-traumatic stress disorder and suicides by military veterans.

"When people come back from war and combat, and they see things that maybe a lot of the folks in this room have seen many times over, and you're strong and you can handle it, but a lot of people can't handle it," Trump said, speaking Monday morning at a panel for the Retired American Warriors PAC in Virginia.

Getting massive shit for this wording right now because of the seeming implication some people with PTSD are weak. I don't know that he intended it that way but because of his past history he isn't going to get any leeway with people.

Yeah I don't think he meant it that way but the way he talked about vets before doesn't give him benefit of doubt

A lot of people used to assume people with depression and other mental health issues are 'weak' or 'just need to get over it', those are the types that he caters to with his anti-PC schtick. I think he meant it that way.

The New York attorney general disclosed Monday that it ordered Donald Trump’s personal charity to cease fundraising immediately after determining that the foundation was violating state law by soliciting donations without proper authorization.

This is scary as hell, and it's insane that the GOP have managed to not only subdue the righteous outrage, but to depict those who talk about it as 'whiners'.

But I was told by my man Don that if you don't like what they're saying, change the conversation.
