Sounds fine to me, as long as they vote for him. I don't consider myself a "Capital P" progressive, but I would certainly think that the idea ought to be, get Biden in office, and then push him and his administration further to the left. Can't imagine anybody other than the bluest of Blue Dog Democrats having a problem with that, just gotta eat your vegetables, first.

Sadly, that will work with a lot of Wisconsin voters. A substantial number, often a majority, of them have fallen for cartoonish lies over the past decade. It's not just that they fell for every lie about Clinton four years ago. In 2010, and 2 gubernatorial elections after (including the recall), they believed the Party that teachers, lunch ladies, and school janitors were making millions of dollars.

What they're doing isn't actually illegal unless they throw the ballots in the trash. The state made a mistake a few years ago when they passed a law that allows people to collect ballots exactly in the way they're collecting them. It was originally intended to be for poor people who couldn't make it to a polling spot.

So, at least until they throw them in the trash, it isn't illegal. The state and voters will also know if they did throw them in the trash. You can track your ballot here and it will tell you when yours is accepted. The state shouldn't pass stupid laws or at least should cover their ass when doing so.

I read (no source I remember but I can try to find it) that the state is saying it IS illegal as there is no one signing to be the proxy for those votes and it is merely a drop box location instead of a one to one proxy with signature. That was what was said was the difference and how it was not following the law as written.

Was that incorrect?

I believe that when the scumbags turn them in, they are allowed to sign the ones that are not already signed. Hopefully this law is reversed. If they open them or throw them in the trash they go straight to prison. The envelopes have to be sealed and you can't turn in anything with a fucked up envelope.
