trump is the most beatable candidate though. Also just because he's saying he's skipping it atm doesn't mean he's going to hold to it when it comes down to the wire. It's Trump. He's completely unstable.
Who is this imaginary politician?Obviously, a moderate Republican
I just want Trump or Christy to make him cry during a debate. Is that too much to ask?Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.No "reset" will fix what's wrong with DeSantis
He's getting relentlessly punked by Trump. But that's not all.www.publicnotice.co
I have a theory-probably a dumb one-that Christie knows he isn't going to win. So looking at the support he initially gave Trump, he's in legacy mode where he hopes he will be remembered as one of the Republicans who stood up to Trump instead of all the embarrassing shit. Again, it's a dumb theory. Also, most of the others are just hoping for a spot in his campaign or second administration. If Christie can survive long enough to make it down to the final 3 or 4, he might piss Trump off enough to debate but that is a pretty big if considering he gets nearly booed offstage at every one of these Republican gatherings.
I think the only other person there who's also trying to stop him/is in legacy mode is Pence, as he ended up becoming one of the reasons Trump isn't president. I also wouldn't be surprised if he's bitter because he was probably hoping being Vice President would be a ticket to the presidency either 1.) after Trumps time was up, 2.) if he kicked the bucket, or 3.) he fucked up so bad they'd have to remove him. None of that either will happen or hasn't happened and any dreams Pence may have had of becoming president are dead, so he probably hates him for that. Also, he probably sees this as revenge for Jan 6th and he and his family's lives being at risk on that day.He has openly admitted that he is running more to stop Trump than become POTUS. It’s foolish cause I don’t think the Republican Party will let him get close enough to where Trump will want to debate him.
Yang was also a mix of non-threatening neo-liberal and a libertarian. Vivek is a mix of modern Republican talking points and more out there libertarian ideas (whether or not he's Ortonsault levels out there is up to you)He isn't just a one note gimmick like Yang was though. He knows exactly what the average republican wants to hear. Trump probably won't pick him as his VP but he's young and he's rich and this is just going to help him. His being a Hindu has also meant nothing so far. It never even comes up in anything I've seen with republicans. He's a monothestic Hindu who constantly talks about how America was built on christianity and the nuclear family. The average GOP voter puts his religion so far down the list of things they care about right now.
