I'm gonna pick a guy that definitely would've went a lot earlier if we did this draft during the peak of Lucha Underground as well as a really interesting wrestler that can work, brawl, or do comedy with a gimmick that you could slot anywhere

Delirious is a good pick at any stage, but his "serious" feud with Austin Aries killed a lot of his appeal and momentum (can't blame Adam Pearce for trying, though), and his turn as booker has been...well, pretty bad, really. Matt Taven as a main event guy? Really?!

I'm going to snag this guy before Kamala gets a chance, and you're damn right I'm giving him a live mic right in the middle of the show. He is the cream in your coffee, your favorite wrestler's favorite wrestler, the Jewish Cannon, the physical embodiment of charisma, the Bernie Sanders of professional wrestling, the most entertaining man in professional wrestling, Mr. Americanrana, Davey Wrestling, the 104-Minute Man, the Main Event, "he's really good at Twitter," the King of Taunts, the Product...

And, to finish off a trios faction (whose opponents will be revealed tomorrow), we get everybody's favorite rugrat...

I'm not using him as a booker. Mostly just using the Delirious that was in ROH and the indies during the mid 00's. He was very fun for a while, but I agree the gimmick got tired after at a point and the feud with Aries was bad. I think once he joined The Age Of The Fall, I stopped caring about him.

The Mil Muertes pick really fucked with my plans because I was gonna create a smaller LWO led by Konnan as the mouthpiece, Mil Muertes as the big heavyweight. I can't do that now.

I was almost gonna pick him in the round where I picked Bob Sapp, but I was hoping he would last a little bit and it paid off. I did have a backup and maybe you could use the backup

Psycho Clown and Murder Clown are still out there

What's the plan at the end? We presenting a card then moving on to 20th century draft?

Did we get decide/vote if we would rather do an entirely 20th century or stick to a 20 year window like we just did?

yeah I think so, i was gonna do a scraps draft but 209 took the centerpiece of my card so I'll just wait for the next one. I think the post was deleted but he should be allowed to keep him.

thanks

Yeah. I was thinking January 1st, 1980 through December 31st, 2000 as timeframe for next one. Sound good to everyone else?

My dream of Tugboat vs Rikidozan is dead, but that still sounds great to me. 80's and 90's still has a ton of variety and depth.

More Juniors:

SUWA

great heel who could really go. He was great in both the Toryumon style and the different NOAH style.

Shuji Kondo

power junior~ I loved Aagan Iisou so Kondo was an easy pick. His time as AJPW (and now Wrestle1) ace have also been enjoyable.

Am I going to put this guy into a tag team with Black Machismo? Yes, I am. Are they going to face Billy and Chuck? Yes, they are.

Good commentary is extremely important for me to enjoy watching so my commentary team is crucial:

Say what you will but my next pick can still work and can captivate a crowd and really I just love that they are still a thing today...

RICKY MORTON (2019)

And I’ll add the first of a tag team that will go against him

These guys were indisputably v washed but (IMO) still entertaining as hell characters at beginning of 21st century. With our expert medical staffs, I should still be able to ring a few more years out of them being an midcard tag team. They're the first team in my multi tag team preshow match.
