That's why I'm nabbing somebody who, too often, is an unsung hero of that period, both in terms of quality and in importance. His hand in training some of the early stars and in booking ROH precursor JAPW needs to be acknowledged more, but at least his roles in two of the best feuds of 2006 - ROH vs. CZW and LAX vs. Styles/Daniels - gets him some of the credit he deserves. It's funny, in 2001, if you had asked most people, they would say this guy was washed up and nearing his career. Here we are though, almost 20 years later, and after getting sober and into the best shape of his career since the early '90s if not ever, this guy is still a damn good worker. I'm gonna go just a few years back into his career though cause I want to use his most famous character.

Continuing my theme of guys I think may have fell a bit because of their lousy recent history and guys with mixed reputations on this board. I think when this guy is at his best, he's one of the most compelling characters in this century so far. I'm pairing him up with Cody (and Goldust) cause I think it has potential to be an awesome feud. Second generation superstars who have gone down much different paths. An ultimate modern babyface Vs an ultimate modern heel.
