Announced Matches - Collision
Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, & Roderick Strong) vs. Daniel Garcia, Angelo Parker & Matt Menard vs. Shane Taylor Promotions (Lee Moriarty, Capt. Shawn Dean, & Shayne Taylor)
"The Protostar" Kyle Fletcher vs. Mark Briscoe
"La Mera Mera" Thunder Rosa vs. Penelope Ford
"Bad Apple" Bryan Keith vs. "Most Wanted" Bandido
Also featuring:

  • Kazuchika Okada & Buddy Matthews FACE-TO-FACE!
  • AEW Women's World Champion Mariah May's GLAMOUROUS exhibition match!
  • Dustin Rhodes IN ACTION!
  • Halftime Harley in Houston Concert
The 3-way 6man sounds like garbage but I can't see any way Fletcher Vs Mark is bad. Harley should be hilarious.

Why did Mortos go from being a heavily featured wrestler, getting PPV shots and even being put into the C2, to then getting shoved onto Dark and ROH right after for 2 months? He had gotten over and is one of the best workers in the company.

I mean I know the answer. Tony gets bored and distracted. It's just frustrating. I'm glad he's back up but he can't keep doing this (well he can).

Two guitars in the ring, and neither of them got smashed over anyone’s head? I’d have lost a lot of money betting on that.

well like i said fletcher/briscoe was never not going to be great. They convinced the fans Mark could win even though Fletcher is in one of the main events of the next big show.

I don't know how true it is, but I read that RJ City helped Ricochet develop his heel character and has worked with him lately. I know he's involved with the Toni/Mariah program and the Timeless Toni Storm character. He might end up being the Tony Khan equivalent of Pat Patterson if he keeps cooking. Pricochet has been amazing and has completely rejuvenated his career.

Ricochet feels like one of the most important guys in the company after years of fodder in WWE. That's why having two major promotions is the best thing for wrestling.

They've been hitting a good groove with the tv for me other than The Death Riders, Cope (Who I like in the ring, but I'm not interested in being the title challenger), and Jericho. Collision was awesome again. Two great matches in Keith/Bandido and Fletcher/Mark, and just a super fast paced show with lots of things happening. And big angles setting up the two big women's matches.

Dynamite has been fun as well. Both shows are much easier to watch than these Netflix Raw's.

Also, I think the time has passed for Eddie Kingston to get that big emotional AEW title win. But, they still have a chance to do it with Mark Briscoe. Guy is still such a workhorse and busts ass every match.

I'd be with you on Kingston if Mox weren't the guy right now. That's perfect booking. Briscoe absolutely deserves more but I don't think he's getting that spot, so the best is him hanging with great workers and maybe the TNT or Contintental.

Miro and Malakai Black are both officially out of the company.

Ricky Starks was removed from the roster page as well but no updates yet on his status.

Fenix somewhere shedding a tear yearning for the same freedom.

Honestly, best thing for AEW would be getting rid of everyone who doesn't want to be there. I could see a few years ago not wanting to give WWE any momentum but at this point WWE is so far ahead it's pointless and just creates needless drama.

Let all of them (black, miro, fenix, starks etc...) go. Focus on the people who want to be there.

I can't see Miro getting out of the midcard if he goes back to WWE. Black might have a shot though and HHH is a fan.

Black is also very good friends with Punk, and the two have wanted to work a program together since 2021. So, Black is in about as good of shape as possible with his WWE return between HHH being a fan and Punk wanting to work him.

If Miro goes back to WWE I see his ceiling as a Bronson Reed type. Or now even below that.

Also, Heyman is a big fan of Black

I know most of these guys have barely been used for a long time. But, it feels like a fresh start for AEW. Hopefully they can regain some of that 2021 vibe.

MJF scored major points here tonight with me. He's been actively bad since coming back but he had a really good match with Dustin and then that entire segment with Page and the HUGE brawl was fantastic.

Dang it, they scheduled a Dynamite up the road in Minneapolis but I have a budget meeting that evening that'll last at least 5 hours.
