If you don’t see Britt by Revolution then it was definitely true

Not a bad card, but aside from seeing where they're going with Will/Omega there's nothing I'm really into here. I feel like Hayter's new look has hurt her overness. I get what she's going for but it isn't helping her.
Joe/Nick Wayne should be fun but I'm ready for Christian's group to break up. It had a great run but it's time to move on.
It feels like PAC almost never wrestles. I know COPE (ugh) is getting the push to face Moxley but I hate seeing him never job.
I don't know if they change the Tag Belts here or drag it out a bit more but PP never really took off as champs so they might as well. I think they should have made the Outrunners the champs instead of PP when they were first getting all the buzz but what do I know.

The AEW Dynasty PPV will take place on April 6th (still not used to seeing Mania out of its usual spot) in Philadelphia.

I'm never calling him Cope. That's the worst name a top guy has had in years, and even moreso when your merch for him is referencing Edge by name. Pac is gonna tear something mid-spear, though.

I feel like with Hayter, they just kind of let her cool off as soon as she got back. She could've fit in immediately with either Mariah or Mercedes and you could've rode either for at least a couple months.

The tag division is the fucking doldrums and I don't see either Private Party or the Syndicate as an answer. Hell I kinda want Lashley/Garcia for the TNT title instead.

I can’t articulate how crucial it is for me to see Disney promote the next season of Percy Jackson with “STARRING COPE AS ARES”

Sucks that Private Party were squashed but if Lashley and Shelton go on a heel rampage destroying evrry teamm and putting actual heat on the titles, it might be ok. This is a wait and see for me.

Mercedes/Cameron is a good fresh match up with the hometown girl in Australia. They need Harley or Toni to win their respective matches though so they don't kill the town.

Harley is so fucking entertaining. The Death Riders stuff continues to be terrible. Ricochet is a really fun heel. Jeff/MJF is not good. I'm happy to see Brody/Julia/Buddy are going to get a push.

As much as I dislike AEW leaning heavily on 50-something WWE cast-offs, I can’t help but enjoy the Hurt Syndicate. Those guys look like a million bucks every time they‘re on TV, and they can still work. No complaints about putting the tag titles on them, and I hope it rejuvenates the division.

Also: The atmosphere for these shows continues to be so much better with the smaller buildings. Glad to see it looks like the plan is to keep running similar-size venues in the spring too.

Opening with Omega/Ospreay brawling with the Callis Family was awesome. Ditch Mox and the Death Riders and let one of the two have the belt. They need to pivot to a main event scene of Ospreay/Omega/Hangman/Swerve/Okada with Fletcher, Jay White, Hobbs, and Takeshita in the mix too. Mox needs a long break again. The crowd is so hyped then die with this Death Riders promo.

A man in his 50's calling himself Cope will never not be funny.
It sounds fucking stupid. Like, I absolutely believe that his real life friends probably call him Cope. But it sounds fucking stupid. It's giving, "How do you do, fellow kids?"

The issue with Mox has always been that he can get real, real lazy when there isn't someone in the match to set a higher tempo. He's never been great between the ropes, but he used to have that Piper-like aura and charisma to carry him. It's sad that he peaked during his first World title run, and that sputtered out into a whimper, but being the wildcard brawler on a roster full of video game spam machines is better than a guy who gets tapped regulalry by amateur jiu jitsu practitioners pretending he's the baddest motherfucker on the planet.

The execution of that Toni/Mariah segment was perfection. I knew Toni had a plan for getting back to where she needed to be and it was worth the wait.

Announcers talking about freddie blassie vs rikidozan, Misawa Vs Baba, etc. references to karl gotch and other legends. Actually trying to teach the history of wrestling. This is one of the things I appreciate about AEW.

Takeshita vs Shibata ended up ruling . The Toni/Mariah segment was perfect and got me hyped for the Australia show. It better be the main.

Hobbs/Bill brawling was fun. Big Bill should kill Jericho and take over The Learning Tree soon. Joe/Nick Wayne was longer and more competitive than the mauling I wanted. Okada/Kommander was short but the last few minutes were great.

The rest I fast forwarded. Curious to how many eyes the Costco guys are bringing to AEW. I don't think as many as everyone thinks. I think their Tiktok vids appeal to children, and this is a show where someone threatened to rip the other person's tits off.

I see a shocking number of adults talking about the Costco guys and Rizzler so I've lost a lot of faith in humanity.

I really want to see Bill pushed more. He's really turned it around since coming to AEW.

I just see the usual wrestling fans loving them on social media, but I don't think that many of their 2 million Tiktok followers are new AEW fans. I don't see them really drawing in New fans or anything. They get great pops, it's just annoying reading so many say they are bringing in new viewers, when business shows they aren't much of an impact.

And cosign on Bill. He's come a long way from that terrible Big Show match at Summerslam.

Also, people online are calling last night's Collision the best one they've done from an all together standpoint. Idk, that Collision I just saw with 3 really good C2 matches was better than this.

But, it looks like Collision is done as the B Show and is equal to Dynamite which is great. The last few weeks have had important matches and storylines like Hangman/Daniels, The Acclaimed breaking up, and the return of Timeless Toni Storm.

it was a really good show but I don't know I can say it was as good as the early eps with the amazing ftr matches probably. But the fact it had a great balance of wrestling and storyline development did make it feel much more relevant I agree.

I know he had one of the best retirement matches ever, but my god Grey Sting with full beard and facepaint looks super badass. Let my man take out these Death Rider fucks and save Wrestling again.

Daniels wasn't going to retire after the Hangman match but doctors told him he needed to. So that's why there wasn't more build to his retiring or anything.

Maria tweeted that today is her final day with AEW.

She also tweeted then deleted the statement “Mike still works there, we have kids”.

I thought the way she handled her contract renewal was really unprofessional. She publicly said something to the extent of "if Tony doesn't extend my contract, I'm gonna spill the beans!". Looks like he didn't listen.

Maria's on her right wing "free thinker" arc based on Twitter since the election so as much as it pains me, good.

I'm gonna say that not forcing Maria onto television every week was the right decision. And there are a lot of talent from that generation who similarly need to go away. The wrestling business isn't a tit for 40 year olds to suck on for the rest of their life. When the end of the line comes go get another job.
