I’m getting really annoyed at the constant “IF IT WERENT FOR AEW…”. babyface promos and it’s not just recently with the Moxley angle.

Usually it’s just been limited to Dax’s MAH FAMILY AND MAH GOD rah rah speeches but it’s spreading.

It’s equally annoying as the WWE trope of talent and their “dreams”.

We don’t have say anything else about Jericho getting the title, we all share the same feelings on that.

Whoever is operating the spray tan backstage has a heavy god damn hand because nearly the entire roster looked like glazed hams out there.

They were just given a new contract for a huge raise that's made them profitable. It was number 6 in the key demo behind NBA, Kamala's town hall and some fox shit. It's routinely in the top 5 if not top 3. WWE's ratings and attendance shrank for 20 years and the company only increased in value. The only people who seem to be concerned with AEW's ratings are people who don't watch.

This BCC angle or whatever they're called now is so fucking good. Wheeler is almost like a hostage because he turned on Bryan and there's no going back. Darby from the rafters is a great cheap pop. Bucks showing up only after everyone else chasing off the BCC is also great cheap heat but also puts over how little they care about the company.

It hasn't come close to peaking yet and is a highlight of the show. Darby is the destination, and it should be at the show Darby didn't get to main event. There's enough ways to keep things going if they can be patient.
