I'm a sucker for any show Greg Garcia does and liked this one. The cast was really good but the ratings this season once BBT was moved weren't that great compared to what CBS usually likes for their comedies.

I thought they just decided that the show had run its course; is that the same as being cancelled, now?

How did this one slip by? "Anger Management" has been cancelled.

TBS Cancelled "Sullivan and Son"

Are any of the TBS shows any good?
"American Dad" and "Conan" whenever I bother to sit down and watch it.

Anyways, Queen Latifah had a talk show and it got cancelled.

On Friday the cast and crew of NBC’s Constantine were told that the production will be stopped after the initial 13 episode order that it received. But the series is not cancelled and is in strong contention for a second season.

I'm surprised at that. I had just finished wrapping the payroll for that show a few weeks ago and it looked like everything was in order to go forward. There was a 13 episode order and everything. This came out of nowhere.

I meant shows that started on TBS, not ones they pilfered from elsewhere.

I enjoyed My Boys but wouldn't say it's a great comedy. More an amiable sitcom with some amusing jokes that never got stupid. Easy viewing (doesn't get annoying / intelligence insulting but doesn't really engage you that much either)

And the first cancelled show of the year is "Covert Affairs" over at USA.

YES! Now I don't have to halfheartedly watch it anymore (I know that makes little sense but whatever).

Comedy Central decided not to renew "Brickleberry". It will be mourned by...well, I'm sure at least one person will miss it...they must be sad about the news...

It was a really bad show. It made "Family Guy" at it's worst look like golden age "Simpsons"

I didn't hate it, but it was derivative and usually flat. It felt like a rejected Adult Swim series that somehow was allowed to be longer than 10 minutes a week.

It didn't even feel like that. It felt like something even Seth McFarlene would look at and say "No, that's insulting"

It didn't help that every character was really unlikable.
That and the fact that every joke simply went out of it's way to be offensive for no reason.

I was the one person who watched Red Band Society. I liked it but I'm surprised it lasted this long

Not surprised that Benched got axed. Watched the first 2 episodes and it just felt like bland filler comedy that wasn't even smart/good despite the concept behind it.

Networks cancelling shows this quickly is yet another sign that network TV is pretty much dead at this point. Time was a show would get at least two seasons before getting the axe unless they were doing absolutely horrible in the ratings... Now, its something of a success if a show makes it past half a season.

NBC moved Constantine to 8pm starting this week to see if it would help the ratings. It pretty much bombed and execs have already stated they can't see it being picked up.

A lot of strange rumors going around about "Sleepy Hollow" and why Fox is holding off on renewing it. Fox execs want it to be more episodic format instead of serialized, with less of an overall arc per season and make it less dark and not as deep into mythology.

WTF are you doing, Fox? First "Serenity", then "Almost Human", now "Sleepy Hollow". Why must you always fuck around with the shows I like? That "Monster of the Week" shit every week didn't work for "Supernatural", it won't work for "Hollow". Leave it the fuck alone!

It feels like if FOX had their druthers and a show like X-Files came out in the present day, FOX would cancel it after 1 and 1/2 seasons because it was too mythology based and not episodic enough (or romantic enough between Scully/Mulder).
