Are you sure you have to be in Steam in order to uninstall games because I see my Steam games listed under Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.

That's where I've been going to uninstall but when you click uninstall them there it launches Steam.

Today - a year after the feature was made available to iOS users - ICS users finally got an upgrade for the Time Warner Cable app that lets you watch live TV... unless your device is rooted, and then it's tough shit for you.

Vintage Time Warner Cable.

If you think you currently have a virus, MalwareBytes is the way to go. For my day to day AntiVirus needs, I use Microsoft Security Essentials. The new 4.0 version has better performance.

I've been using my Bravia as my monitor and keeps getting weird on me. Like I've had this HDMI cord that's been plugged into it and for the longest time I couldn't get sound out of it so I was using actual speakers.

Today, it suddenly decided to have the sound on it. Why the fuck four months later, stupid Bravia?!

My DirecTV dish isn't working. They're coming out to look at it and charging $50 just for doing that.

Busted out Roller Coaster Tychoon 3 lately. Built a massive coaster, and when trying to connect back to the station found I was 0.03 feet off from the height of the station. Now at somepoint I got off that .03 feet, and damned if I could figure out where.

Hour of coaster scrapped.

Suppose it's okay, probably would have been too intense anyhow.

I didn't know that they changed all the music in the DBZ Budokai HD collection. No Cha-la Head cha-la in the credits of Budokai 1 either. I wouldn't have bought the game if I had known this. Boo hiss.

What!? Why do I even own (and have not played) this.

As long as the Budokai 3 theme was left untouched and the option to use Japanese voices is still there...

Budokai 3 was fantasic. So many fun, wasted hours there. Did not care much for the original.

The option to use the voices is still there, or in my case there for the first time. The original run of Budokai 3 didn't include the Japanese voices, and some of the Greatest Hits discs that claimed to have them actually didn't, so I never bought one. I couldn't tell you if the theme is untouched.

Fake edit: From the dragonball wiki:
Since the original soundtracks were composed by Kenji Yamamoto, whose tracks have been accused of plagiarism, both included games have entirely new soundtracks mixed from the soundtracks of Budokai Tenkaichi 2, 3, Raging Blast, Tenkaichi Tag Team, and Ultimate Tenkaichi, plus entirely new music and the American Dragon Ball Z theme song from the original game and show. Both games also sport the optional original Japanese language track.
Fuck fuck fuckity fuck. Though I didn't see a Japanese language option in Budokai 1, so I guess I'll have to go look again.

The original wasn't great as a fighter, but it was at least playable, and I thought the story mode was very well done.

I kind of wish the collection included 2. It's story mode sucked, but the fighting was a bit better than 1 and I liked the graphical style.

Which one had story mode take place with a die and perhaps card? Am I imagining that? I feel like that was 2.

I remember hearing about the plagiarism issue, and actually yeah, all the times I rented 3 way back was an original release so I never switched languages. The Budokai 3 theme should be an original composition not from the series but full of sweet guitar riffs (with lyrics in the Japanese version).

Yeah that was 2 where you rolled a die (or dice? I can't remember) and moved across a game board.

Get ready to jump on board the 'FUCK YOU' bus with me Venk, they didn't change the theme for 3. I hadn't noticed that since I hadn't watched the intro. I didn't really know for sure there were music changes until there was no Cha-La after beating 1, but I thinking there were changes before that. I remember loving some of the world map music in 3, and none that I heard on my 360 play through were sounding that cool.

Sons of bitches.

Oh, and Rock the Dragon is in Budokai 1 as the intro music. I didn't remember that being in there but figured I just forgot. But now that I know they replaced everything I'll assume that wasn't in there before. Yeah, that's what we were missing, Rock the Dragon.

Edit: I think that 'both games include the Japanese language option' is bullshit, because I've looked everywhere and can't find it in 1.

"Steam needs to convert the game content for "Portal 2" to a new, more effcient format. This will require an Internet connection and a few minutes' time."

THIS kind of shit drives me insane. I just want to play my fucking single player off-line game, but no I made the mistake of letting Steam connect to the internet and look what happens. And few minutes my ass it's been almost ten and it's not done yet. Fuck the internet connected age of gaming.

I'm planning on getting the DBZ collection at some point still. I never really paid attention to the music since I probably turned it off after a few hours and listened to my own stuff anyway. I loooved Budokai 3. There was so much shit to unlock. I never play the 1st one.

If you don't care about the music then yeah there's no reason not to get it, but fuck the music in 3 was awesome, and I marked out for cha-la in the ending credits of 1. And for me a lot of the warm feelings I had for 1 and 3 were because of the music, so completely changing it is like having an incomplete game to me. It's not quite as bad as when I rushed out to buy the Gameboy Color port of Crystalis only to discover that they'd replaced all the music in that and didn't even try to make it sound similar/good, but it's still very annoying and considering I still own Budokai 1 and 3 for the PS2 I absolutely would not have spent $40 on the HD collection had I known about the music.

That meminds me, I still need to find the people responsible for changing the music in Crystalis and murder them.

I think that was supposedly to allow Steam to push updates that were considerably smaller (similar to Xbox 360's, I think), but I don't know if I've noticed a big difference as far as update sizes go.

I know I joke about how it seems like everytime I try to do something online with the PS3 I have to download and install a large update. But Tuesday I wanted to get the PS3 version of Pinball Arcade so I could play Scared Stiff and TNG on a television since god knows when the bankruptcy deal with their 360 publisher will be worked out. So of course I can't connect to the store because I have to update, ok fine. Internet dies 3 times during the process and I keep having to start over though that's not Sony's fault. Updated, get into the store and get the game and the tables. Launch the Pinball Arcade 'there's a newer version of this software available you need to update.' I JUST DOWNLOADED IT FROM THE FUCKING STORE WHY IS THAT VERSION NOT THE LATEST ok fine whatever fuck you just download it.

Flash forward to Wednesday, the very next fucking day. I go to play Pinball Arcade, and get the there's a new update of the PS3 system and you have to get it now or you can't be logged in which means no high score uploading in Pinball Arcade. I JUST DOWNLOADED A FIRMWARE UPDATE YESTERDAY AHHHHHHHHH.

But seriously I had better not be forced to download and install another large firmware update for a long ass time or I'm going to explode....in text form.

That PS3 games have to be updated immediately upon being downloaded from the store absolutely kills me. One of my games (Little Big Planet 2) took almost two hours to download the updates. There were 13!

Yeah it's a bit ridiculous. The update for Pinball arcade is like 300MB. I think the original download was only 120 or something. Ridiculous.
