I'm hoping that there's some sort of way to earn money later. Because selling biological crapp doesn't seem to be a good use of my time. My goodness, once you run out of phoenix downs, getting 1000 gil to buy another one seems like a tall order indeed. What I'm missing in this game is a rikku-like THIEF class, so I could speed up the item-getting. Because fighting a King Behemoth is hard. And getting a drop worth 80 gil is annoying. Another bestial claw? Do those things even give 20 xp?
So I get that the biological components increase the bonus and the mechanical components are worth way more exp. I'm assuming Cei'th drops are biological, but not sure yet. My point is that they've been giiving me transformative componenst for chapters and I'm NOWHERE near leveling any weapons up yet. It doesn't help that I switched Fang's spear from her standard one to the Gae Blog which I imagined would give great counter attacks. It doesn't. She rarely does counter, the damage is tiny, and Sentinals, while powerful, really hurt you in the star count.
Right now I'm maining hope with a SYN/RAV/SNT group, buffing whichever buffs I think will give me the best attack, and then switchign to relentless. This works fairly well. But not always. It is extremely annoying to have to rotate characters for specific fights because so and so doens't have debrave or whatnot. It is getting better at laster "levels" though. Still, having to custom build Paradigms for certain fights is troublesome because you only have six and can't change them on the fly. This especially applies to Eidalon fights where if you've been commandoing with a char and she needs to tank / debuff to earn Gestalt...better retry. And then spend a while changing shit. For one fight.
Does anyone know if the weapon system gets better later, if I just push through a point and suddenly I can fight soldiers again? Incentive chips, 2500 gil each, I miss them so. I was so happy to find a place with Pulse enemies. Fighting biologicals is SO pointless.
