Just found out there is a way to get Babalities on the bosses.

First, you need to have the round amount and time on the default settings.

You must not lose a single match leading up to the boss fights. Round losses are OK.

For Goro and Kintaro, you need to perform a Babality on Shang Tsung.

For Shao Kahn, you need to perform a Babality on EVERYONE.

After you beat the respective boss, you automatically do the Babality, no matter how far away you are from him.

I had Shao Kahn do a Fatality on me today. It was pretty brutal.

Oh yeah, Kitana's ending made me laugh. I could see the reference being made and thought it was amusing, but then they kept going with the pose, the specific character shot, and then a musical cue to make sure the reference was hammered in. Thumbs up.

Correct.

The first time I ever lost to Kahn in Tower mode was as Sonya, so I thought her suddenly becoming a sex slave was something that happened if a woman lost. Then I lost as a man and realized Sonya shows up all the time. What happens if you lose as another chick? I lost as Kitana (and Tanya from MK4 takes her place in the background) but was ripped in half, and as Melina I easily won by spamming teleport kicks and sais.

Note when I say "easily", I'm wimping out and playing on Beginner.

MK1 Raiden was a scary man. I think even his ending was about how he hated humanity for being weak and decided to battle other Gods until the Earth was destroyed. Characterization came a long way since then.

Funniest time that happened with me was during Ladder, my opponent was Noob Saibot...I beat him, no chance for Fatality or Babality.

Then I fight the stronger, more dangerous version of Noob Saibot.

Apparently somewhere between Thursday and Friday I forgot which button blocks - if what I read was accurate, I got the Noob fight by not blocking in the Temple while he was in the background, and today I got the trophy for completing arcade mode without blocking. I'm sure I tried many times to block, though maybe this explains some things.

Fake edit: Nope, it's R2, just like I thought. I used Enhanced attacks all the time (which I assumed counts as a block).

Either that or sending messages to your past self are like Twitter messages, and you get a certain character limit.

Saying anything other than "He Must Win" would have put him over his character limit.
