Actually, it's half and half for the other classic dlc costumes.

Sub-Zero, Scorpion and Reptile have old fatalities.

Ermac, Jade, Kitana and Mileena don't.

I just picked up Mortal Kombat for the 360 yesterday. Been playing the Challenge Tower, Story Mode, and did some Ladder today. Kintaro is still tough as I remembered him from Mortal Kombat II.

I'm only at like 70 or 80 so far on the challenge tower, don't know how the hell I'll ever complete the whole thing but I intend to try. My goal for the game is beat the tower, see all the endings, and unlock everything in the krypt. We'll see how reasonable that is.

I've got about 8 endings left to see. Does anyone know what the fuck is up with Jade's ending?

I would be furious if I lived in Australia and had video games being actually banned from purchase by anyone, but specifically having Mortal Kombat banned makes me laugh because when I was in 5th grade we had Australian pen pals, and I was jealous because one of my friend's pen pal wrote about owning Mortal Kombat 2, which was not out in America on consoles yet. Revenge!

My Krypt is now 100% open (and then some) so I can focus all my arcade ladder money on skipping Tower challenges I don't like (Zombie Goro is pissing me off).

Sektor's Scarecrow fatality is awesome.

Any idea roughly how many koins it takes to buy everything in the krypt?

Hmm... no. Best guess - check the map list of how many there are, then assume each costs 1,000 koins (between 700-1300 each). If you happen to discover a second fatality on your own, I think this removes the grave / dead body / torture victim / thing in the woods for free. Unlocking alternate attire via the Ladder definitely does this.

I have not skipped one Tower Challenge but the one I'm at now (100-something) is really tempting me. All of my experience fighting Goro is on Beginner (I just want endings and money) so fighting this Goro while slowly (seems like quickly) dying of poison sucks.

You fight Goro, Kintaro, Mileena and Shao Kahn in that order. For the first three fights, Kahn randomly dishes out either a strength boost for your opponent, health regeneration for your opponent, strength decrease for you, or your ability to block. The only good thing is the more times you retry, when you beat someone, the more health you get back. Eventually, you'd be back to full health after each battle.

I've beaten all the Tower Challenges (did them first to get them done)...didn't skip any so it took a good while to get them. Now I'm using challenge #300 to help "Master" characters.

I know this is a hard question to answer but should I get the PS3 or 360 version? I do have a joystick for the 360 so take controls out of the equation.

PS3 has an extra character over the 360 version - Kratos. Outside of that I'm sure the only differences are minor console quirks.

Longest load time is against Shang Tsung in the arcade mode (since he cheats and does things a human Tsung can't do), and that's really not much of a load time.

Yeah, those two are really neck and neck for favourite ending of mine. The narrator's reading of the final line in Stryker's seals it for me though.
