Whether it's Bixenspan or Gabe Kapler, or whatever, it's probably better to direct that anger at actually bad people than at how other guys look, post harmlessly on the internet, etc.
Brody: what do you dislike so much about Meltzer? I've never really understood folks' anger at his rating system or how much he enjoys certain matches and styles, but maybe it's something else for you.
As someone who hasn't loved wrestling since 2007, and hasn't been engaged in any WWE stuff since Punk left, and then whatever interest I had left was snuffed out in the Covid era.... I am more triggered than I should be about the fucking star system. He had it at 5 stars forever, then just started throwing extra stars for every backflip Kenny Omega did. It made watching men in their undies pretending to fight less enjoyable to me knowing some Autist in California was gently rubbing himself to the thought of Will Ostrich doing his artwork.
It really was before all that when his WWE/TNA etc reviews were all negative leaning and then New Japan would be mentioned and the Randy Marsh splooge rating system came out on his podcast.
He's also obnoxious on twitter.

I can't hate on Bix as he gave me the surreal moment in time where he took my Brian Kendrick shoot review and got AEW to change booking by raising a stink with it. I ended up with no credit, but it put a gleam in my eye.
It was one of the 7 or 8 cool things that came out of me writing for CXF.
1> Contacted by a documentary filmmaker who heaped praise on my Sodder Kids crime story. He wanted me to help him but ghosted me soon after
2> Contacted by the father of a missing kid to ask to do a write up for him
3> The Uncle Fred incident
4> I am now in the reference page of a Portland wrestling history book.
5> Somebody used my Gacy article as part of the Gacy wiki
6> Kendrick's a nut and the fall out.
7 > I would not have sought out Bryan Alverez to be a "producer" on After Dark Radio had I not had hope this would lead somewhere with my crime articles. I arranged guests for him and was on the pod for a few semi embarrassing performances. He shut it down without even letting me know IIRC. Once Art Bell went back to retirement, Bryan slowed down production and eventually was just doing a state by state recap of cryptids or something.
8> I was able to write passion projects like the Farley article or my personal ghost hunting recaps
I was all in on the writing for a few years. I even pumped my normal 2 articles out the week my dad died.
