I've alternately wanted to hang out and avoid peak Sandman. Fun to jail real fast.

He did several appearances on the Central Maine indie circuit like 5 years ago. Pretty much the same Sandman you'd expect except aged. Unfortunately, he did a Q&A at an events center where he revealed he was a huge MAGA guy. But I guess it was wishful thinking for me to think a guy who made a life pouring cheap domestic beer on himself and hitting himself with a kendo stick wouldn't turn out to be a huge MAGA guy.

I have literally no recollection of that intro, but damn do I wish they would've interspersed some of the rave footage with clips of cruisers doing spotty things and hosses throwing people around.

'99-'00 Saturday Night was a staple of lonely 11 year old King Kamala's weekends. I can honestly say that it was probably WCW's most consistent programming last three years. Last 8 months or so of the show, they let Jimmy Hart book the show and have its own separate storylines. Not that '96 to '98 WCW Saturday Night was tied into the main show storylines anyway...

Hoped that video had cool leather jacket-era Tony but my timelines are probably way off.

I think leather jacket Tony was closer to peak WCW. By the time, they lost the Monday Night War, he was consistently dressing like a divorced dad unsuccessfully trying to keep it together.
