Now him taking Low Ki's spot in Triple X, that's where I wonder what might've happened.
Kid Romeo did do occasional appearances in TNA from '02-'05. Wonder why they didn't even try to give him any sort of midcard push cause he was presumably cheap. I think he was hurt by the fact that he was a Florida guy 10-15 years before it became any sort of an indie hotspot. By the time, TNA moved down there in '04, he had lost any sort of prospect status and was just another job guy. They even dropped the Kid and just called him Romeo in his '04-'05 jobber appearances lirl.

People were mad early that he wasn't getting Skipper's push. Don't agree but he had a spot somewhere. If Michael Shane could, he could, and he would've cost less.

You'd have to be a fool and a clown to not think Elix Skipper deserved a push in early TNA. If anything, his great tag team work probably held him back from being an awesome X Division guy.

I remember WCW stars showing up on an episode of Jenny Jones in the late 90s. I think it was Buff, Saturn and Kidman.

Sting, Rude, and maybe Badd??? and Madusa?? were on Vicki Lawrence's talk show in 1992. PWI praised them for being able to be on a talk show without having to defend scandals like the WWF guys were doing.

Kamala, start a "Obscure talk show hosts" thread so we can discuss "Tempest".

It would have been great if when Vicki asks Missy "How did you break into this business?" Missy would have said "Well you see I met this guy Eddy Mansfield and sucked his dick...." (Supposedly Hyatt believed Eddy was a wealthy star and Eddy thought Hyatt belonged to the hotel chain family money so they both got married quickly trying to get rich. The truth likely lies somewhere in the middle)

I guess hearing about going from a joke in the states to a fairly big name in Mexico could be interesting. I mean I don't care in this case but it could be interesting.

Since Michael Shane era has arrived in my TNA history watch, I looked up his Cagematch and I was surprised to see he'd been around long enough to get a shot in WCW.

I also forgot Konnan's brief run as a C show color commentator because I guess I don't got it like that.

WWE Evil Episode 1 is another rehash of the Hogan/NWO heel turn.
If you wanted Dr. Phil's take on wrestling, here's your chance.
AC Slater also offers his thoughts!

They talk about how Hogan having creative control, complete with a Nash talking head shitting on Hogan changing plans without booking anything better. Then Hogan made me LOL by saying "These guy's egos got out of control and the inmates were running the asylum" Delivered without a bit of irony!
The show jumps from seemingly starting to shit on Hogan's backstage BS to Bischoff losing legit control of WCW, where it is then framed that Vince Russo was a fool for trying to downplay Hogan as a central part of WCW. Not exactly a cohesive narrative.
--
I was also amused that Hogan told Hulk after WM 17 that he needed to go back to Tampa and get his red and yellow gear, which is then spliced into his SD! debut in red and yellow....which is all updated WWE merch from head to toe.

I've hit a point in my love of this goofy business to where I never want to hear about Hogan in WCW (or even the nWo, truthfully) ever again. No one says anything new.

I get sense that WCW always wanted Riggs to be a bigger deal than he was. At least on the same level as his former American Male partner BUFF.

They tried a lot of different ways to get him over (plucky babyface, Flock member, Narcissist rip-off) before throwing in the towel and letting him go to ECW.
