Kamala's Random WCW Bullshit thread

Sherri's strengths are literally her not being like everyone else, not to mention her willingness to bump and put people over. She's a valuable addition to most rosters at any point, even if you want her to help teach the other women to be less shitty in their diva matches. Honestly, there is literally nothing Ivory was booked to do that Sherri couldn't have done, which is a booking comment not one about Ivory's ability.

There's a solid 80s-90s sitcom you can base around a retired pro wrestling star running for president and hiring his down on their luck buddies to do various jobs around the campaign.

Listening to a John Arezzi podcast covering a show from October ‘94 and him and Mark Madden discuss Sgt. Slaughter strongly considering coming into WCW.

So maybe that explains the random military guys coming into WCW in ‘95.

Man, Slaughter in ‘95 WCW would have produced some awful (“Great!”- Brody and Vale) matches. Would we have gotten a satanic Sarge in the Dungeon of Doom?

Anyone watch any of Sarge's vaunted run in the American Wrestling Federation to know if he had anything left in the tank?

Sarge/Duggan tag team would probably be what they would do. Vs Blue Bloods, Stud Stable, and Harlem Heat.

There's some potentially fun comedy matches with Duggan and Slaughter against the Blue Bloods.

The DVDs were on Netflix in the late ‘00s/early 2010s. It was closer to ‘92 Slaughter than ‘97 Slaughter.

I would not recommend watching any of it unless you really like late era Tito Santana or want to hear Terry Taylor do a mediocre Homer Simpson impression.

Sarge in the WCW random match generator!

The dirtsheets also reported Sarge was asking to go back in the WWF at the end of 87. We missed out on an awful months long series of matches with Dino Bravo. He probably runs out of steam before 1990 and the Warrior title reign ends on a different twist. With Rude gone, maybe they hot shot it to Taker at the Rumble?

They rehash the Desperados vignettes with the State Patrol

Sarge could've easily had Ronnie Garvin's career, only successful. I can 100% see him as the champion against Flair and feuding with Valentine before going turncoat

“Matches you didn’t think existed” thread crosspost.

It really defines the Random Match Generator energy of WCW B/C/D shows (and even occasionally Nitro) in ‘97-‘99.

Sid's great, though. I always bought him as a monster but he was never all that intimidating compared to other guys, and as time passes I 100% see he was never probably a top heel but could've absolutely been a top face.
