Texans win the AFC title 33-28, but I was lucky to even make it a game since, like today, most of the team didn't bother to show up. My saving grace was Wes Welker who had 374 kick return yards and 2 TDs with almost every other return putting me in good field position. Laurence Maroney was useless and was told after the game to find his own flight home since he was no longer part of the team. My defense was equally useless as well.

Yeah, apparently my team somehow felt bad for the real Wes Welker and decided to let him have a career day (if not NFL record day) returning kicks. One kick was absolutely fucked up as I squibbed it and Wes dove onto the ball..only to not have any of my gunners touch him down, allow him to get up, juke two guys and burn it up the middle of the field for a TD.

Slaton and Young were a pretty good running tandem as both scored goal line TDs while Schaub was able to find OD on a few key plays while also remembering that Kevin Walter is a viable deep threat as well and hitting him a couple of times.

I will call BS on my pick of PK with Ty Law however. Granted, Law was covering his WR pretty well but the way he wound up just picking the ball while pretty much going over the back was a bit outrageous.

I was puzzled as hell to see that the Texans' backfield included Ty Law and Lawyer Milloy; I didn't even know Ty was on the original rosters, I thought he was added in one of the roster updates.

I was puzzled as hell to see that the Texans' backfield included Ty Law and Lawyer Milloy; I didn't even know Ty was on the original rosters, I thought he was added in one of the roster updates.

Ty and Lawyer were both on the FA List and if I remember correctly, the rosters for the league were sans any update and thus with FA signings, I picked up both to try and shore up some loose ends in my secondary.

14-7 Cowboys. There was kind of a uniform gaffe where we both wore white, which probably contributed to the low scoring on both ends. Now to get raped by Broward and move on to the first ever online franchise offseason!

We played and I did what was right for business and jobbed 14-7.

White vs white was a poor choice. I forgot about my hatred for Dallas' home whites and subsequently forgot they wore white, so I was trying to go by the color of the pants, and light silver vs white on 20" SDTV is a bitch to differentiate on the fly.

Definitely should not have called that flea flicker on 2nd & 5, but I got it in my head that I had to try it so I did, I lost 3 yards, had to punt and gave up the game-winning TD drive.
