Haven't had a whole lot of interactions since the game basically holds your hand so far.
Which mode did you use? (RPG, Story, Action)

It didn't ask me, so I am assuming RPG. BTW importing rocks. My level 30 soldier from 2 started off at 30, the skill levels all transferred over and I had 20 skill points to play with.

Mr. UPS Man is sure taking his sweet ass time delivering my copy. They're starting to push the Release Day Delivery concept a little close.

I'm also having a lot of fun with skills for my infiltrator. Cloaking myself and then taking down engineers is very important to battles. I have found that the grenades are relatively worthless if you're throwing them. Vega, however, seems to take everyone out with his.

Has anyone figured out a great way to get ship fuel without stumbling upon a destroyed fuel depot? I found that I nearly ran out when I picked up a new party member.

You get a full tank when you go to the Citadel. Other that not really. Just the ransom wreckage.

Early favorite for line of the game goes to the bonus squadmate, specifically when talking about the Salarians. Very unexpected.

I'm enjoying running into old characters...even totally minor ones that I wouldn't remember if they didn't tell me how I knew them.

I got to punch out that same bitchy reporter from ME2, again. Good times. :p

My save says I just played for 8 and a half hours. That had to be the fastest 8 and a half hours ever.

There's a monument to your fallen comrades from 2 on the crew deck. Still pissed that Garrus died. And my dear, sweet Kelly Chambers :(

I lost one guy. The robot guy who I picked up near the end and never ran his mission to get his loyalty (hence why he died). I don't miss him.

Logged a few hours and did the first mission after the tutorial. Talk about throwing you right into the fire. Coming in at level 30 was really strange, but kinda cool. It hasn't really grabbed me yet the way 1 and 2 did right away, but maybe that's because I was revisiting ME2 just recently and played the multiplayer demo. I haven't been a year without Mass Effect like I was the past few times. Presentation is awesome and I'm loving running into characters again and again already. Most of the pieces already feel like they're on the board.

The multiplayer is also fun, but man, I miss all the characters I unlocked in the demo. EA might sucker me into spending some real money on a pack to get one.

For some reason I thought Kelly and Jack were dead in mine. But the memorial says Kasumi and Kelly are my two dead characters from the suicide mission. Hrm.

I just started the launch DLC to get the extra companion. Unfortunately you have to do a few missions before you can select him for your squad. He's got some cool biotic powers so he's worth it... mon.

If any of you are playing on normal: were there comically long waves of enemies at the end of the opening earth mission, and at a couple points throughout the second mission? I'm playing on hardcore, and having to kill a few dozen guys for about 5 minutes gets a little silly. It's not hard, but kinda tedious to work through a bunch of guys respawning out of nowhere. If normal is a bit less immersion breaking, I might dial it back.

For that last bit of the on-Earth opening mission, on Normal, I think I only had to fight 6-10 of those fatter husks (I can't remember what they are called) before the Normandy swooped in and picked me up.

Did you import a level 30 character? I wonder if it scales on that at all. To give you an idea of how many I fought, I had the achievement for lifting 60 enemies after that battle.

I wouldn't call that a cop out. It's not that much different from them using Mark Vanderloo for the default face of male Shepard.

I get that, but after Bioware promising to reveal how Quarians look and they eventually decided on
a stock photo with some effects added
it feels a bit cheap.

Fair enough. I agree it wouldve been cooler to see a fully rendered character model, that's for sure.

What I said about not being sucked in stopped as soon as I got to the Normandy and got some free reign. Strap on that casual leather jacket and get to work, Commander.

The guest teammate really has an issue with Salarians, but in a humorous way. Took him with me to their base, and the comments from everyone were pretty good. Plus I found the Raptor sniper rifle, which may be my new favorite gun.
