For any Canadians, EB/GameStop has 50% off used accessories, including Kinect. I got one today; looks like it was barely touched, for $65. Sale's on for the weekend.

It'd also work for controllers, hard drives, various other doodads. Also PlayStation Move if you can find it. The PS Eye camera is probably an easier find, for only $15.

That's the same kind of thing that happened with Knights of the Old Republic. The first hour of that game is awful and everyone I recommended it to I had to tell them to stick it out. To a man they came to me after starting it to tell me that it was unplayable. Then the next time I saw them that it was the greatest thing ever and they couldn't put it down.

I feel retarded... I've been watching downloaded stuff on my PC forever. It just hit me today that my 360 has USB ports...and that I can flashdrive my downloaded stuff and watch it on my 40in HD TV. Just tried it out, and a 1+GB file of Game of Thrones looks awesome on the screen.

I'm slow.

Toys R Us has a sale where you get a $50 gift card and $20.00 xbox live card if you buy a new system. I've been meaning to upgrade, so if that gift card lasts until the next "buy 2, get 1 free" sale, I'm down.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is on sale for 600 points this week. I might pick that up.

The Summer of Arcade has also been announced with Bastion kicking things off July 20th for 1200 points. I've been following the development of that game with Giant Bomb's video diaries and it looks pretty interesting.

I've been disappointed with the summer XBLA games thus far, except for Magic: 2012, and even that isn't as good as its predecessor.

They finally released Avatar Kinect, though. It's tucked away as an add-on for Kinect Fun Labs. I still need to set up my Kinect for it. TSM talk show!

It's a slight step down from Magic: DotP. The worst addition is that you can see what deck your opponent is playing, so the real game is now rock-paper-scissors between which deck will beat yours.

Also, they didn't incorporate the DotP decks, although most of them have similar counterparts int his game.

FAKE EDIT: I forgot that the deck editor lets you REMOVE cards, so you can keep the deck at 60 cards, which is a very welcome change. You still can't control the mana put in, and you can't add cards from other decks.
