They updated the ESPN app and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. If you are a college football fan there's a lot to like about it since you can instantly pull up a score ticker, set your favorite teams to get highlights and, which I think is the coolest thing, watch two games in at once in split-screen so you don't have to stare at that "This game will continue soon" graphic for 5 minutes.

Finished this today. Worth every penny of the $15. Very original. Very fun. Can't wait to start the New Game Plus and ramp the shit out of the difficulty. It also helps that there are two key decisions to make, so I can just run them through opposite second time through.

I know Microsoft stopped adding new BC to original XBox titles a few years back, but are the older updates still available?

You should be able to pop in the disc and see if it's compatible. I wish they would have continued making updates. From my experience, it always disconnects to Xbox Live and then it downloads a file. Then you either get an error message or it plays.

Booting up the 360 to watch Dirty Work on Netflix resulted in me currently looking at my 3rd "Update in Progress" screen. Is this the new fall 2011 update a friend warned me about (something about making it look like a Windows Phone) or is this the pre-update update that makes the 360 ready to receive the overhaul in the future?

Edit: Guessing the latter since nothing of consequence has changed at first glance.

Ok. I have a choice in my backlog of games. I'm currently messing with NCAA 12 but am thinking of starting a new game.

I can play:
-Mortal Kombat
-Dragon Age (i had a friend that said skip this, especially if you don't like Baldur's Gate style games and just go straight to 2)
-Dragon Age II
-Arkham City (i'd have to purchase this one)
-Keep playing NCAA12 and get Skyrim and play it when it comes out.

Or I could play No More Heroes on Wii, which I've never done.

Real Canadian Superstore (and possibly other Loblaw shops) have MS Point cards for half price this week. Started Friday, so it's possible they'd be sold out by now. Could always try price matching at other places with the flyer, though.
