Minecraft is p. cool. It seems to be a stripped down version of the PC game, but it's really easy to get into. I can see how someone could lose a lot of time in it.
Does dirt do anything? I hollowed out a hillside to build a house and I've got all this dirt now.
It seems like something I wouldn't like, and if I wanted to like it would be based on putzing around making stupid designs, not worrying about deadly monster attacks at night.
There's a bit of a tiff over the x-box version of Minecraft because there's some mode (offline multiplayer I think?) that doesn't work if you don't have an HD TV and there's no indication of this before you buy the game.
One big deal is that Minecraft Xbox 360 is about a year or so in content behind the PC version, and there's a ton of content missing. I assume the Xbox version can go to the Netherrealm, but probably not the Ender realm.
Edit: Also missing jungle biomes, the ability to run, the redesigned health system, the levelling system, enchanting, neat crafting recipes (Don't know if it has vending machines/arrow launchers).
I downloaded DLC Quest from the Xbox Live and it needs an update. I got the error message 397F-0000-D080-0200-807B-019C. I cleared the cache in the hard drive, uninstalled the game, and re-downloaded it. It didn't fix it.
Edit: Pwer cycled router. Worked like a charm. That DLC game is really short. You could beat it in thirty minutes.
Minecraft was patched today and added an autosave feature. No more losing an hour of progress due to breaking through a wall and being consumed by a lava stream.
So I picked up Trials Evolution the other day, and man do I need more people on my friends list that play this game. It's disappointing when PK is the only other person on the leaderboards for the hard stages. It just takes away some of the fun when you're only competing against one other person's ghost.
The first one is pretty easy. I only had 84 faults on it, and most of those were in one area I couldn't get past. The second one though? Fuckin 217 faults.
I'd imagine Splosion Man probably hasn't held up too well, cause I'm not really liking Ms Splosion Man despite the game not being too different. I think Super Meat Boy just raised the bar too high for other super difficult platformers.
Trials HD and Limbo should both still be awesome though.
Hitman: Blood Money was on sale for $15 today on Games on Demand so I got it since I've been wanting to try it for a while but couldn't find it cheaper than $30 anywhere. Nice that MS has somewhat figured out that more sales probably mean more money.
Is there anyway to copy videos to a 360 hard drive? I've got 320 gigs that are just going to go to waste if I can't put anything more than games or music on there.
