Guys like Usman already talking about retiring or doing a different sport really speaks for itself at this point. There's a long line of esteemed fighters who would sign on to get knocked out by Jake Paul. That's p. sad imo.

Yeah I was gonna say a good sign that celeb boxing isn’t going away is that mma fighters have had two opinions that I’ve seen:

- they want Jake Paul to fight a guy with hands
- they think they have hands and want to fight jake Paul or a retired boxer themselves.

Either way they wanna see him fight again and ultimately it’s Dana’s fault. He just said Jones is out and it’s ngannou vs Lewis, probably strong arming but even just putting it out there shows what ufc fighters deal with on the regular. Just ask these guys what they think of joe Silva.

Jiri should be fighting Rakic or Anklaev next but with his last two fights ending the way they did I think the UFC will strike while the iron is hot and give him a title shot next. It's going to be interesting watching how things play out with him over the longer term, he relies on his chin in exchanges way, way too much and eventually that meter is going to run out.
