Apparently Deveison's management team has said that they'll rematch Joe in June at UFC 250 in Brazil and I really hope the UFC makes that fight happen. Joe was clearly dazed from the headbutt and was checking the cut when he got cracked. If the fight goes ahead the smart thing to do would be to have Alejandra Pantoja cutting weight as an atlernate in case Figgy fucks up again and blows weight that way they can still have a Brazilian in a title fight.

I also greatly enjoyed Ion Cutelaba doing an impression of somebody on the verge of being KO'd then immediately losing his shit when the ref stepped in. That was a bad stoppage but a justified bad stoppage.

Edit: Apparently the show that Devison is open to rematching on is UFC 252 in July.

the main card tonight is pretty good. I think Izzy will stop old man Romero and I'll be sad but I am a mark so I still believe Yoel can achieve it. Prime Yoel would be a nightmare matchup, so this one might still be able to pull it off.

Double J has a legit shot too. Those are two legit high-level fights, worth watching. Not a lot of hype though, probably because most people think Yoel is too old to do it.

I actually think a couple of the prelims are better than the other fights on the main card. O Malley's and Winn's fights should be good.

Per Meltzer the UFC was in the midst of finalizing weekly shows from a Native reservation in Oklahoma but when Dana saw his boy Donny talking about groups of 10 or more being a no-go they cancelled it.

Dana is doubling down now and saying that UFC 249 won't have it's original lineup but rather it'll be a hybrid card featuring fights from the cancelled London, Portland and Ohio shows on it. Mentions Ngannou/Bigi Boy as a fight that's being looked at.
