I completely overhauled my depth chart and my paranoia about "having" to win since it was a recruiting visit week obviously showed. I pressed early and skipped over a FG to turn it over on downs inside their 15 and then missed a chip shot 26 yard FG.

The broken tackles were driving me nuts to the point I was contemplating shutting the game off, it was such blatant Heisman level bullshit.

BC Offensive Player of the Game: QB Dave Shinskie going 26/54 for 600 yards with 6 TD vs. 0 INT
BC Defensive Player of the Game: FS Wes Davis who had 8 total tackles and 1 INT
MD Offensive Player of the Game: RB Darel Scott who had 20 carries for 138 yards and 2 TD

To show how blatant the broken tackles were...
QB: 2 on 3 Carries

Alright, we're now on week 9 folks. Everyone is amazingly still ranked, and TCU got leapfrogged by BC in rankings. Looks like a National Title game between users will be occurring.

I also have important news on Boise State's recruiting front. They've managed to sign two more Top 150 players in Michael Walton, and Charles Jackson who both play SS. There's also Willie Holt at SS, so its looking like that one might be assigned FS duties, one will stay at SS, and one of them will be moving to a LB position or possibly CB depending on their needs. With those two and Scott Jackson (HB), this now brings Boise State's total commits to 9.

So I'm playing LTU and I'm shutting them out, feeling great holding them to a punt and they punt it to my 2 yard line. No problem, except on my first play of the new drive, I get called for a bullshit holding call.

#6 Boston College Survives Another Battle Over Clemson
Eagles Win Home Game Thriller 42-39

The Eagles fought hard and clawed their way back from a 31-21 deficit to take home a very big victory. The Tigers scored a late touchdown but several big runs by Montel Harris gave BC the opportunity to kneel the ball and improve their record to 8-0. Boston College outscored Clemson 21 to 8 in the final quarter.

The big factor for the Eagles win was forcing Clemson to fumble the ball 3 times, twice in Eagles territory.

Maybe but also keep in mind that teams like Notre Dame, Florida State, and Clemson all are around B to B- level overall including Offense and Defense. I think Boston College itself is around B to B- level so it's not a big surprise that I'm struggling against evenly matched teams.

Also playing User is way different than CPU.

I'd say more Top 15 if anything. You'll only get up in the Top 10 if quite a few of the top programs fail, since there's like 8 teams that are something - 0.

And even then, TCU has a single loss (albeit close) which gets them a top 10 spot. So you'll need a few things to go your way at the end of the week to make Top 10.

Probably should go in the regular NCAA 11 thread but since everybody there seems to have moved here anyway:

Tuner patch is out.

-Increased the default starting values for all Recruits.
-Slightly increased progression for low and mid tier teams.
-Tuned CPU recruiting to prevent teams from signing too many players at any one particular position.
-Increased CPU’s focus upon needed positions in recruiting.
-Top schools will sign 5 star prospects earlier in the season.
-After a recruit Soft Commits, any CPU team that is not ranked in the top three will spend significantly less time calling the recruit.
-Addressed an issue with big lineman jumping too high and deflecting passes.
-Tuned ESPN U Top 150 Players to be more in line with actual top 150 recruits by decreasing the number of Fullbacks and Kickers.
-Tuned Field Goal, Kick Offs, and Punting in Super Sim.
